The Unexpected Nanny 2

Bonus Chapter 1

Grace had been in heaven ever since they got back from their vacation, and the surprise wedding Ethan had planned. They were now back to reality, and was wanting to hire a nanny. Grace had been searching, and interviewing, for a couple weeks, but wasn't sure who she wanted. All she knew was, she wanted someone who was qualified to handle six babies, and one who loved kids. She was sitting at her dining room table, going through the resumes, when Ethan came up from behind, and rested his hands on her shoulders, massaging them.

"How hard is it to find a nanny? It can't be that difficult." Ethan said leaning over her, grabbing a stack of resumes, and looked through them.

"It really is hard; I want the right one. I don't need some hussy trying to steal my man." she smirked, as she looked up at him.

Ethan chuckled, and shook his head. "Hun, you have nothing to worry about with me, I'm a one-woman man, and after it took years to get you in my life, I would never do anything to destroy that." he said, leaning down, and kissing her. Every time he kissed her, it sent electricity throughout his body, and loved how it made him feel. He helped her up, sat down, and had her sit on his lap.

"I'm not worried about you, I'm worried about what they would try to do." she says, taking a deep breath, and sighing. "You're young, sexy, and has a great body, you could have any girl at your feet."

"I'm not interested in anyone else but you, besides, if that's what they're looking for, then we can fire them, and hire a different one. Plain, and simple, they're here to do a job... not to seduce their employer." he assured her, as he looked at the resumes. There were three resumes that caught his eye, pulled them out, and held them out to her. "Here, interview these ladies, they have plenty of experience, and they're definitely not my type." he says, winking as she took the resumes with pictures attached from his hand "I better get going, and get back to work. I have a meeting soon." he says, removing her from his lap.

Grace stared at the resumes, and smiled when she looked at who he thought she should call. Once Ethan left for work, she picked up her phone, and called the nanny potentials seeing if they're still interested. Throughout the day, she interviewed nannies, and narrowed them down to three that she would like to have come back for a second interview, and wanting Ethan to be there to help her decide.

For the next couple days Grace, and Ethan called the nanny potential's references, and had them come back for a second interview with Ethan. After the interviews, they talked, and agreed on one. "She's perfect, I'll call, and let her know she has the job." Grace said excited, feeling relieved to be able to finally have some help, while Ethan was at work.

"All I want is for you to be happy, and for you to not wear yourself out. The last thing we need is, for you to go into postpartum depression." he says, pulling her close to him "Harlow went through it, it was bad, and was hard on Antonio, it was also hard on me, seeing her go through that. I don't need you feeling that way." He cupped the side of her face, and gave her a kiss. A kiss that was short, but sweet, since they got interrupted when they heard the kids wake up from their nap. "I'll go check on them." Ethan says, pulling away from her lips.

Grace's phone rang as Ethan walked away, and answered it. Let me get back to you. Grace said, before hanging up. She walked into the kids' room, over to Ethan, and sat down next to him, helping him change the kids diapers.

"Would it be alright if you watched the kids tonight, that way I can go out with Sadie?" Grace asked, curious to see what he would say.

"Sure, I have no problem with that." he says, looking at her. He looked back down at Noah, and plugged his nose as he opened his diaper "Phew!"

Grace giggled "Like father, like son."

Ethan grinned, and was thinking of a comeback, but couldn't think of anything. "It is what it is, something I can't help, and if you girls are going to be feeding me beans, and spicy food, I cannot promise that a puff of wind will smell like roses." he says nudging her. He then grinned, and laughed "What did the maxi pad say to the fart?" he asked, moving himself over to change Gavon's diaper. Grace shrugged her shoulders knowing the answer would make her laugh "You're the wind beneath my wings." He laughed hard when she made a funny face, and stood up.
