Ilona fed the kids their morning breakfast, Luca, Lilliana, and Brandon helped clean up the dishes, washed, and put them away while Isabella, and Gabriella brought the triplets upstairs to help clean them up.
Ilona was worried about Grace after the phone call she received the night before, and wanted to call Ethan to check up on her. Grace's work was unable to get a hold of Sadie, or Antonio, and called Ilona informing her there was a medical emergency with her, and someone needed to pick her up. After explaining they were out of town, and that she wouldn't be able to pick her up because of the kids, she gave them Ethan's phone number, and was surprised to hear they didn't have his number.
Ilona got a hold of Ethan, and explained to him they called her about Grace, and that she was the one who had given them his number. Ethan was surprised to hear Ilona gave them his number, and was glad to hear she did, thanking her. He then insisted to her that she not to say anything to Sadie, and Antonio if they were to call and check up on the kids, and that he would deal with them when they got home.
"How is she?" Ilona asked.
Ethan explained to her that she was alright, and for her not to worry, that she was at his house resting. He didn't want to tell her the news about Grace, and was still trying to process the news himself. He felt she didn't need to know why she was there, and that Sadie, and Antonio should hear the news about Grace first.
Thank you for your concern, but I'm going to let her rest for a while, and I'll be going to her work later to find out what exactly happened. Ethan explained to Ilona.
Ilona hung up with Ethan, after the kids started calling for her, and ran over to her. "Come on Ilona, we want to go make snowmen." Matteo begged, as he pulled on her arm.
"OK, OK." she giggled "Let's see if the other kids would like to make one also."
Ilona asked the older girls if they wanted to go outside, to help make snowmen, but declined, saying they had too much homework to do. "Do you think it would be possible if we could have our boyfriends come over later?" Gabriella asked.
Ilona's eyes widened, unsure of what to say, and wanted to make sure it was alright with Antonio first, before saying yes. The boys were only over the night they took them to the dance, and had never been over after that. She didn't want to overstep her boundaries with Antonio, and Sadie out of town, and didn't think it was up to her to decide if they could come over.
"Let me think about it." she smiled.
They sighed, and rolled onto their stomachs while lying on their beds, and continued doing their homework. As she was walking out, she overheard Gabriella say I'll bet mom would let them come over. I wish she was here right now.
She walked back downstairs, grabbed her phone, and called Antonio. When he didn't answer, she called Sadie. Both never answered, so she text messaged them both. Hey, I don't mean to bother you, but the girls would like for their boyfriends to come over later. Please let me know if it's OK, ASAP. Thank you.
She set her phone down, and got the kids into their outerwear to go outside. As they were walking out, Ilona's phone rang. "Lilliana, make sure the kids stay close by while I take this call quick."
"OK." Lilliana smiled.
Ilona talked with Antonio for a few minutes, and wasn't too thrilled for Ilona to allow the girls to have their boyfriends at the house, while he, and Sadie weren't home. She told him what she overheard Gabriella say to Isabella, and talked to him a little longer, assuring him she would keep a close eye on them. As long as they aren't in their bedroom, and they're where everyone could see them, then it's OK with me. Antonio says, giving in, and sighing.
