PENELOPE

"You thought you could run away from me, huh?" Dylan smirks as he pulls me out of the mall. "No one escapes from me. Look at yourself, you tried making a fool out of me," he says, squeezing my arm tightly, causing me pain. I struggle to break free, but he doesn't let go. He notices Mabel trying to follow me, but his guards stop her. He pushes me into the car that is packed outside the mall and locks the door. He opens the other door and gets in. The car then speeds off leaving everyone who saw the whole scene dumbfounded.

"Let me go!!" I scream at him. "Please, just let me go. I haven't done anything wrong. I will report you to the police. You have no right to kidnap me. Somebody, help?!! I'm being kidnapped!" I scream, desperate for help, for anyone watching to help but nobody comes to my rescue. Dylan presses a button on the side of his door and a barrier comes up blocking the driver from seeing us at the back. He then grabs me and covers my mouth so tight I can't let any air out.

"You shut the hell up or I will shut your mouth for you. No one can hear you from the inside of this moving car. And no cops can touch me. Most are under my payroll. Do you understand me?" He says and I find myself nodding my head. I am screwed. This much I know. My eyes are getting wet and I know that I'll start crying any minute. He lets go of my mouth and I move further away from him till I can't move again.

After a while, he puts down his phone and looks at me in disgust. "We are getting married tomorrow. You better get yourself together and prepare yourself psychologically for the wedding. "he says and his attention goes back to his phone. At this point I know that there is nothing i could do to get out of the situation i am in. Tears cascade down my whole face and I cant control my cries any longer.

He takes a glance at me and immediately gets angry, "What is wrong with you? Stop crying! You dont look pleasant when you're crying and it's not like you look better when you're not crying either!!Just shut up."He shouts at me as he pulls out a clean handkerchief and throws it at me.
I am silent for the rest of the way till we arrived at an airstrip where I notice I, his private plane was waiting for us to arrive.

"We are going back home to the Hamptons." He tells me as he exits the car. "What are you waiting for? Get out! " He shouts. I am still in shock and I can't believe this is really happening. I quickly get out of the car and after some minutes we are settled in the plane and it takes off. I had left her past behind, but it kept on haunting me. Life couldn't get any worse for her at this point.
