I was playing on my phone while sitting in the living room at Shane's house. The gang was talking about an idea for the next video they wanted to film, and I was not paying attention.The only thing I would be doing would be helping edit the video after they were done filming it.
"What do you think, Y/N?" Andrew asked from beside me. I turned my phone off and looked up.
"Sorry, what did you say?" I ask. My face began to heat up as I spoke.
"We were thinking of going to Harry Potter World for a video. It could be a surprise for Garett." Shane explained the idea to me and I nodded. "But I want you to be part of this one. You know just as much about Hogwarts and all of that as Garett does." This caused me to hesitate.
Sure I was friends with the whole squad, but I wasn't in any videos. I had too much anxiety to really put myself out there. I was in group pictures they posted, but I was never talked about in any way otherwise. Of course the fans were curious, but I was too scared of the hate to tell them who I was.
"I really like the idea, but I don't know about being in front of the camera."
"Andrew, please convince her to be in the video," Shane pouted. Andrew was my biggest weakness and they knew that. I was closest to him out of anyone here, and I couldn't deny that I liked him.
"Y/N? Will you please be in the video with us? Shane's right. I think you'll really enjoy this. It will be a lot easier to enjoy this if you're not worried about being behind the camera at all times." I looked to him and he was pouting, too. This man will be the death of me.
"Fine, I guess I'll do it." I rolled my eyes as everyone cheered.
"Yes! I'll get the tickets. Andrew, you text Garett and tell him to meet us here at 10 tomorrow morning. Everybody else, go rest up and get ready for tomorrow. It's going to be hectic," Shane spoke excitedly as he ordered us.
I looked to Andrew and smiled. He had this dorky grin on his face. This job makes him so happy. I've never seen his so passionate about something. He had his phone out texting Garett. When he finished he looked up and met my gaze.
"Are you about ready to head out?" I nodded. He's always my ride when it comes to going to Shane's or Garett's. We live in the same apartment complex so it's not like he's going out of his way to take me.
"We're heading out, guys. See you tomorrow!" I hugged everyone before meeting Andrew at the front door.
"I'll see you in the morning, Y/N." Andrew walked me to my front door. He does this every time, even though he lives on the complete opposite side of the complex than me. I kissed his cheek quickly as a thank you.
"Goodnight, Andrew," I spoke softly with a smile on my face. He mumbled a 'Night', frozen in place with a smile smile beginning to form.
I sighed happily when I turned to my apartment. Tomorrow will surely be a success. I'll get to spend the day with my best friends. I'll be able to get a new wand to add to my collection!
I pulled my phone out of my back pocket so check my notifications. I was too preoccupied on the ride here that I didn't even think to look at it.

I unlocked my phone and opened the message my friend sent me.
Jackson:
Hey, Y/N! I'm having a party next week to celebrate my birthday! I know it's not your kind of scene, but it would mean a lot of you would come. You can bring a plus one if you want to. Let me know if you'll be able to make it! Love ya, bear <3
Y/N:
Hey, Jacks! I guess I'll come.... :( JK! Of course I'll come!! I'm bringing a friend so I have someone to comfort me when you start drunk karaoke. Love you, too, honey<3
Jackson:
That was one time! But I'm glad you're coming, see you then ;)
Y/N:
See you then *kisses*
I set my phone and started to get ready for bed.
Jackson was the first person I met when I came to California. He helped me get my first and only job I've had since moving here. He's the assistant manager so I got the job at the bookstore quickly. He's such an amazing guy, and I'm so glad he has his loving fiancé to put up with his dorkiness.
I checked my phone once more before climbing into my warm bed. I scrolled through Instagram for a few minutes then plugged my phone into the charger. I yawned deeply and plopped down onto my bed, pulling a pillow close to me to cuddle.
