I woke up in Andrew's bed. The redhead was still fast asleep. A small grin broke out across my face. One of his shirts engulfed my frame, surrounding me in his scent. My phone ringing ruined the moment.
"Shit," I cursed quietly. The phone screen lit up as I ran out of the room to answer it.
"Hey, mom."
"Hey, babe. Are you busy?"
"Not right now. Is everything alright?"
"Yeah. I just wanted to talk with you." I sat down on the couch and wrapped a blanket around myself. "Are you coming for Thanksgiving?"
"I plan to. I miss the babies like crazy."
"They miss their big sissy, too. Are you bringing your boyfriend? Your cousin wants to meet him."
"I don't know, mom. I'll ask him about it today and let you know what he says."
"Okay, baby. I'll talk to you later. Love you."
"Love you, too, mom," I hung up.
The couch dipped as I began to doze off. I cuddles into Andrew's chest without opening my eyes.
"Who was that?"
"My mom. I don't think she realizes she's two hours ahead of us and we like to sleep in," I answered. "She wants to know if you're coming with me to Thanksgiving. The family really wants to meet you." I yawned.
"My family doesn't do Thanksgiving too much. Christmas is where we go all out. I'll have to call and make sure, but I can go with you if you want."
"It would be fun to introduce you to my little sisters. They love meeting boyfriends."
"Oh, so there have been others to meet them?" he laughed. I squealed as he squeezed my butt. I tried to stutter out a response but he continues to laugh. "You're luck you're cute." He kissed me softly. The Next Week
Ryland and Shane looked at me as I walked into the living room of their house. They were silent and awaiting the news.
"I got the job!" I exclaimed. Ryland quickly stood up and hugged me.
"Congratulations! What is it? You never told us specifics."
"It's this smaller bookstore that's about a block away from my place. This sweet older woman runs it. She really liked my resume," I smiled.
"Looks like you're really lucking out this week. First, the fans adore you and Andrew. Second, you get a better job," Shane spoke.
I laughed, "Yeah, they're all shocked we hid a relationship for four months."~~~~~
I'm so sorry for the lack of updates earlier this week! I got very sick this past week. My grandmother and aunt got into a car accident yesterday and I'm trying to recover from that mentally.
So I apologize for the short filler chapter, but it's all I can do right now. Thank you for reading.
Much love xox,
