Two Weeks Later

I woke up early and had the chance to stop by Starbucks to get coffee before I went into work. I hadn't been able to sleep recently, so I had to resort to coffee to wake me up rather than my usual tea.
The line at the coffee shop was long. I groaned to myself as I took place at the back of it. I was scrolling through Twitter when I felt a tap on my shoulder.
"Hi, I'm sorry to bother you. Are you Y/N?" I looked to the teenage girl and nodded.
"Really! I loved seeing you in Shane's video. You are so funny!" She smiles widely as she spoke.
"Thank you." I didn't know what else to say. I had never been noticed like this in public before. Sure I had met fans while I was out with Garret or Shane, but this had never happened while I was without them.
"Could I take a picture with you?"
"Of course!"
We took the picture together and continued talking as we waited in line. She asked me about what it was like to be friends with all of the guys and Morgan. We went our separate ways when we got our drinks.

I felt my phone ding as I pulled into the book store. I opened Instagram and saw the fan I saw earlier tagged me in the picture we took. I followed her back and got out of the car.
I greeted Jacks, handed him the coffee I got him, then walked to the back to clock in. My coworkers sat in a group in the break room. I quietly made my way past them.
The store was almost deserted all day. Jackson and I talked at the front of the store just in case any customers needed any help. Greeting was my specialty, too. We were talking about relationships when the small bell on the door rang.
"Hi, Welcome to-" I turned and saw Andrew, "Oh, Hey!" I ran up to him, engulfing him in a quick hug.
"Hey, Y/N. I haven't seen you in a few days so I wanted to surprise you," Andrew spoke. He pulled away from the hug but kept an arm around my shoulder.
"Hey, man," Jackson greeted Andrew with a hand shake.
"Would you mind if I took this one out for lunch for their break?" Jackson nodded then winked at me.
I turned to Andrew and grinned, "Let's get going then, shall we?"

I just wanted to thank everyone for the love and support you have shown for me and this book. It means the absolute world to me that people enjoy my writing.

I took a hiatus from this book because my grandfather was sick. He passed away just a few weeks ago. I'm still hurting, but writing helps me feel better. So during the Summer I plan to work more on this story. If you have any ideas please let me know. I get writer's block frequently.

Hugs and kisses,
Angel Baugh
