I arrived to my apartment and saw Morgan sitting at my doorstep.
"How long have you been here?! Why didn't you tell me you were coming over?" I unlocked my door and gestured for her to come in.
"I wanted to surprise you! You said you needed to talk to me?" She plopped down onto my couch.
"I'll tell you in just a minute. I'm going to change real quick." I walked into my room to pick out more comfortable clothes. I put on some sweatpants and a random shirt I found. I made my way into the living room after getting a water bottle from the kitchen.
Morgan had gotten her favorite blanket of mine and turned on Netflix. She opened a new show called 'Trinkets'.
"Okay, I have some tea." I sat down next to her and pulled the blanket onto me as well.
"Ooh, spill!"
"Andrew visited me at work today-"
"Awwwww!" she cut me off.
"Let me finish! But Andrew visited me at work and asked if I would join him for my lunch break. We went to this little café. After talking for a little bit, he asked me out on a date."
Morgan began squealing, "Oh my god! When is it?"
"Saturday," I laughed.
"Oh my gosh. Finally! Are you excited?"
I sighed, "I am, but I'm so anxious. I don't want to ruin the relationship we have now. I like where we are. What if we don't work out and everything is ruined?"
"Y/N! Do you not see the way he looks at you? He absolutely adores you! You have nothing to worry about." I give Morgan a small smile.
"Okay, let's stop talking about boys for the night. The new Stranger Things season is calling my name."
I thought about Andrew all night.
