I had never been in a proper relationship before.
So I've never really slept with a girl and..well...done things.
But when I woke up...all of that changed.

When I opened my eyes, my mind was still shut down but I could still feel warmth. An inviting warmth that again, put me at ease. I sighed. But then I felt something moving against my body.
It was....Lena.

"L-L-Lena?"

She was fast asleep, all curled up in my arms.
Cute..but..HOLY CRAP!!

"Mh-Aki...? Why are you up so early? Is something wrong?"

She was so tired bless her.

"No-it's ok Lena. You go back to sleep, kay?"

I kissed her forehead gently.
Why did this all feel so natural? Like we had done this thousands of times before? She fell asleep in my arms again. Who would have thought I would ever been staying in the same house as six gorgeous women for the night?

Speaking of which, how long would they stay here?
I guess I had to decide that.
Well I can't just kick them out.
I'd need to find them a place to stay if I did that.
But hey-I may have a big house but I'm not rich enough to buy six!
I guess I could just let them stay here until we figured something out.

I felt like falling asleep again too. Maybe I could just shut my eyes for a second.....

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!"

What in the world?!
Just as I shut my eyes I heard a scream. It was one of the girls...

"Aghh! Get off me you creep!!"

No...Kenzie..
I leaped out of bed and dashed to her room. Ritsu and Blaise where already there.
I looked at Kenzie to find a black scorpion, frozen underneath her foot.

"What happened?!"

I asked....picking up the...frozen scorpion....?

"It just crawled through my window and attacked me out of nowhere!"

Through her window??

"Why is it...frozen..?"

I asked, poking it to see if it was still alive.
It felt rough and sharp.
It's skin was charcoal black.
Hang on.
Rough.
Black.
Scorpion.
The Nightwatchers.
It was their NightClub logo.
A black scorpion.
I gasped.

"No way....there's no way in..."

"Akimato what is it?!"

Blaise asked.

"Did you figure somethin' out?"

Ritsu said hiding her hands in her
sleeve.
She was wearing sleeves?
Damn girl it is probably like 20 degrees in my house right now!

"Yes and...no. I know where that scorpion came from. The Nightwatchers."

"Of course! Their logo! But-hang on-how do they know where we are?"

Blaise said trying to think.
She picks things up quick.

"And why would they attack us now?"

Ritsu said crossing their arms.

"Hang on...lemme see each of your necks."

They all looked at me like I'd gone mad.

"Akimato...I know you did shower us and all, but seriously-"

"Yes that's it! When I was showering you I felt something..."

I grabbed Ritsu's arm and moved her hair out of the way.
I knew it.
They put trackers in their necks.
How could I be so stupid?
Of course it wasn't going to be that simple...to get the girls to safety.
I pulled of off her neck as gently as I could.
She jumped when I did.
I threw it on the ground and stepped on it.
It was sharp on my bare foot, bad idea. OUCH!

"Trackers. They put trackers on each of you."

Just then, the others came in the room, all except from Bella, of course.

"What's all the commotion about?"

Cara asked.

"And why is there a scorpion in the room?!"

"Long story."

Blaise said ripping the tracker off her neck.

"But it was the Nightshaders. They've located us. And it's all because of these."

Blaise held up the broken tracker.

"You need to disarm them now!"

Everyone touched the back of their necks.

"Holy crap you're right."

Cara snapped the tracker in half as if it were a biscuit.
Damn she must be stronger than I thought she was!

"What are we gonna do..? We have nowhere else to go..."

Lena said, worryingly.

"Yeah-we'd have to like-move country or something."

Kenzie said, closing her window.

"Ok-how about we discuss this over some fresh breakfast pancakes?"

I announced.
That put a smile on all their beautiful faces.

"Oh my god Akimato you're the best!"

"Agreed. There's no better way to a ladies heart than food!"

Ritsu said running down the stairs.

"Race ya. Last person has to give me
their pancakes."

They all bolted.
I chuckled to myself.

"Careful! I'm not so sure I can catch all of you at the same time!"

I heard them all laugh and giggle from downstairs.

"Now, I have one more thing to do."

I went into Bella's room.
I knew it.
She was still asleep.
She hadn't heard anything that had just happened.
I sat down on the bed.
I moved her hair out of the way, and felt the tracker on her neck.
Her skin was so soft.

"You'll forgive me for waking you up Bella. It's for the pancakes, trust me."

I pulled it off and stepped on it again.
Ok I really need to stop doing that.
It was like stepping on a piece of lego.

"Huh?"

She woke up and rubbed her eyes.
I bent down and whispered in her ear.

"Wake up time, sleepyhead."

I wasn't sure if she heard me or not but she blushed so either way worked for me.
I tried my hardest to sign: Let's go eat breakfast downstairs, I'm making pancakes.
She nodded.
I smiled, then kissed her cheek and then went downstairs.
