As I took another step into the room as I walked further into the room, I watched a group of familiar familiar people come jumping out from behind the sofa, screaming out my name.
It startled me for a second.
It honestly made me jump."AKIMATO!!!"
"...u-h-You guys...what on earth...?"
All their attention was completely focused on me.
What in the world...?
QI mean, I expect them to be shocked and confused as to why I stormed off but for them to be this worried is just.."Thank god you're okay..."
Blaise said, closing the door which I left open.
They all came up to me, baffled with my hair, dusted my clothes and freaked out at some of the tiny scratches that were on my arms."Aki we were so worried. We didn't know what had happened and..."
I looked at Lena with a slightly stern face.
Although part of me just wanted to burst into tears. The others backed up slightly. They just kept quiet.
A menacing silence lasted for about 15 seconds before Cara broke it."...Ugh can you just get over yourselves!"
She said, frustrated for some reason.
She walked in between me and Lena.
Lena almost had tears in her eyes.
I quickly glanced over at Ritsu who was completely avoiding eye contact with anyone, acting as if she had no part in this mess at all.
I looked back at Cara."....Cara-What do you mean?"
I asked, almost rudely.
I didn't want to come across as rude but something about this was really testing my patience."You know perfectly damn well what I mean!"
Another second of menacing silence. Why was she acting like this?
This practically had to do with her."You two need to get it together and stop being pathetic."
Lena took a step forward, this time essentially sobbing on her words.
"A-Aki I'm so sorry...I really didn't mean for any of this to happen! You don't know how bad I feel...I-I know it was really stupid of me but I..."
She wiped away her tears, trying to stop them from flowing, but instead she just looked at me.
That look in her eyes.
It was the same look of desperation she had when I first met her.
I wanted to forgive her now.
I really did. But how could I even be sure that she was telling the truth?
I mean, you can't just tell someone you love them unless you actually do!"No offense-but what has any of this have to do with you, Cara."
Ritsu said, in an accusing tone.
Was that an accusation or a question?"...Look who's finally decided to own up. Or were you just going to sit back and let everything fix themselves unless I stepped in?"
Why was this turning into an argument between those two?
Did something happen whilst I was gone?
I looked at Blaise for backup, expecting her to say this whole thing was plain ridiculous, but she looked as lost as the others.
The tension in the room was so high, that it made me want to scream for the first time in 12 years.
I've always been the type of person to scream or cry on my own.
But I guess this was just too much.
This whole thing was way more than just a mess.
I didn't know what to say or do.
I could tell that it was obvious my face was turning red.
Ritsu looked more flustered than I did."Fine. Akimato. Lena. I'm sorry. None of the crap that happened that night meant anything to me. It was a petty mistake and nothing like that will ever happen again."
If it meant nothing to you then why did you do it in the first place?
My head ringed with a small shock of pain for a split second.
Did I...really just say that?
"Cara-are you trying to help? Because if you are it really is not working!"
Lena called out, her tears gone.
"...Help? And why would I try to help you? Lena, you need to stop being so self-centred!"
Cara snapped back.
"I am not self-centered!"
Lena was shouting this time.
"Cara-why don't you just go back to sulking in your room? It'll be better for all of us!"
Ritsu was acting like a different person. Not the fun, goofy, intimate Ritsu I know.
Cara just seemed so-mentally unstable and Lena..."Fine. Even if I did, what would you do to help this situation? Just ignore it and pretend like none of this ever happened?!"
Cara...please stop yelling...
I looked over at the others.
They looked so uncomfortable.
So out of place.
Lena looked like she was about to cry again.
And Ritsu and Cara wouldn't stop shouting at each other. Was bringing these girls here all together really a good idea after all? Was my plan on saving them and bringing justice...really even justice..? Or have I just made their lives even more of a living hell?
