The Japanese based town called Nakigoto was pretty famous, despite it being small.

It had some of the best diner's and markets so that explained why.

However, there were lot's of rumors going round that there had recently been some shady traders around lately, who'd been selling illegal and unknown items.

Also...Slavery.

It's not like the law allows it, but they're just a bit pathetic and to chicken-ass to stop it. Really pathetic. They're the only people who can actually prevent things like that, and yet they don't even do anything. So people like Akimato Tenebris and I, end up taking action ourselves.

I haven't seen that swine since The Phantom Incident.

At first I was terrified and wanted to go to the police, but then I realized that we live in a shitty world and that there was nothing they could do anyways.

In this shitty world that we live in, there are many supernatural and paranormal creates that walk alongside those who are nothing other than simple humans, such as myself.

About 75% of the world knows about this, but most of that 75% choose not to see it.

They're just afraid, and running away from it. They don't want to acknowledge that it exists.

But after what I saw that day I met Akimato, I honestly wouldn't blame them.

"Right now...Aki's in hell."

Hell...?
I tried to capture Ritsu's expression to see whether I could find any hints as to what she just said, but she just eyed me back coldly, as she did the rest of the girls.

"What, don't believe me?"

Her arms were still folded and I was starting to sense some hostility from her as the tension in the room grew.

I looked around and noticed that everyone had doubtful looks on their faces, as if they didn't want to admit that they still don't trust her.

Am I...really the only one who still sees Ritsu as one of us?

"Well..."

Despite the awkward tension, Lena decided to speak up, her soft timid voice being the loudest thing in the room.

She looked down at her lap and tucked a strand of her long brown hair behind her ear.

Well of course Aki likes her, she's incredibly cute. Who would like a rough country girl anyways?

"...Even if Aki's in a bad place, I know she'll get back to us!"

She sounded like she was trying to keep positive. Blaise just sighed, Bella looked at me confused, Ritsu looked at Lena as if she'd said something stupid, Cara was expressionless, and I sat there, feeling incredibly helpless.
I'm sure everyone felt the same way too.

"Well, I disagree with Lena. Sitting around and waiting isn't going to accomplish anything."

Cara replied, taking out her phone.
I frowned at her.

She has a point, but does she have to be so rude about it? Plus, as if going on her damn phone will accomplish anything either.

"Oh yeah, and playing Yumemite No Kanojo is gonna get us so far."

I teased, sounding a little cocky.

I know she plays it because she's on her phone all the time. I also know because I have the app too.
