I knocked on Bella's door, not necessarily expecting a reply considering she probably couldn't hear me.

"Bella? You in there?"

I let myself in, feeling slightly bad for the intrusion of privacy.

"Bell..a..?"

She was underneath her covers.
I couldn't even see her face.
I smiled and sat on the bed.

"Bella. Its me. Akimato. How ya been cutie?"

I don't know why, but even in my head I always referred to Bella as 'The Cutie'.

There was just something quirky about her personality that just made her so...cute.
I mean sure all of the girls were cute in their own way...but Bella...Bella was special...
Well they all were but...th-that's besides the point!

She didn't need words to convey her feelings or express her emotions.

And you didn't need words to talk to her.

Well, not literally.

"Bella. Come out from hiding underneath the covers alrea-"

I pulled the bed sheets away to find a bunch of pillows and cushions lined up to make the shape of a person.

"B..Bella..?"

My heart skipped a beat slightly to find out she wasn't there.
Don't worry Akimato.
There's no need to panic.
I'm sure she's downstairs.
The girls were most probably just pranking you.
Yeah.

"Hahah..."

I chuckled out loud, not fiding this 'joke' of theirs very hysterical.

"Those girls..."

I closed Bella's room door and ran down the stairs, trying not to alarm myself too much.
I skimmed the room, calmly.
She wasn't there.
It was probably nothing.
I went into the kitchen to find a few of the girls chatting.

"Oh-Hey Akimato. Dinner's almost ready by the way."

I flashed them a fake smile wich didn't last very long.

"Uhh Akimato? You good?"

Kenzie put her hand on my shoulder, looking slightly concerned.

"Yup. I'm great. Uhh say, have any of you guys seen Bella around?"

They looked at one another all giving me the same tragic answer of 'no'.

God that wasn't what I expected to hear.

"Is she not in her room?"

Blaise asked.

"No! No...no she isn't..."

"Yeah, yeah she isn't around here. Akimato you need to learn not to panic so much."

Cara said, stepping into the kitchen.
Yeah...Cara was right. She was always right.
R-Right...?

"Akimato...you're...wincing...are you sure you're ok?"

"She's obviously concerned about Bella."

"Well where even is Bella? I thought she was in her room?"

"No. Apparently she isn't."

"I'll go check!"

"There's no point. Akimato already said she wasn't there."

The girls threw pointless arguments back and fourth wich only made me more nervous.
I started to catch a small sense of anxiety tremble through me.

"G-Guys!! Seriously, Bella isn't in the house!"

I yelled.
They all looked at me.

"Aki, that's just absurd surely she's in here somewhere."

"Yeah, if only she could hear, maybe she'd hear us calling her."

No-No. No. I liked Bella. I didn't care wether she could hear or not. She was...Bella.
She was the cutie.
She is my cutie. My sweet little dove.
Gah-What am I even saying?!
No, I'm sure she's in the house somewhere.
She has to be.
"Yeah cause just sitting here squabbling like a bunch of flamingo's is so gonna help!!"

I felt like I had no control over what I was saying.
Out loud, and to myself.
What is wrong with me?
Why am I getting so freaked out by this?
I was starting to freak myself out.

"Dude. Chill."

Kenzie gently booped my head with her cooking spoon.

I tried to calm myself down but that didn't help the fact that Bella was missing.

"S-Sorry...I'm just worried about her."

Blaise suggested that we all split up and try to find Bella considering that the house was pretty big and that she could be anywhere in it.
I could only hope that Blaise was right though.

I went to check Bella's room one last time.

I opened the door, thinking that nobody was inside.
I looked up and I saw the figure of a half naked women in blue and white striped underwear.

She had short, white silky hair and when she turned around to face me I immediately recognised who she was.

I ran over to her, giving her a tight hug, not giving another care in the world except from her.

Her benedict blue eyes twinkled.

I kissed her forehead again and again.

"Oh god I'm so glad your safe!"

I was acting like a worried mother who had just found her child.

"So...you where just in the shower? Ugh I'm so stupid I should have checked there as well."

I didn't know full sign language but I was getting pretty used to it.
I think I managed to pick up a few words.
She looked at me horrified and signed:
You are a big fat pervert Akimato.

I chuckled and hugged her again.
It felt so right when I hugged her.
I didn't want to let go but she pushed me away.

"Ok I'm sorry...I'll let you get changed in peace then."

She nodded.
I leaned against the outside of her door and sighsed with relief.

"Yokatta!"

I'd been speaking bits of Japanese here and there because of Kei.

I just loved their language.

"Akimato! What are you doing?? You were the one who was worried about her in the first place!"

I got off the door.
It did kinda look like I was resting....against a...door.

"O-Oh! No, Lena I found her!"

She looked at me and blinked.

"Y-You what?"

"Yes she was just in the shower."

She blinked again.
But this time her face was a little frustrated.

"Aki you pervert-two-timing player!"

Blaise and Cara came rushing up the stairs.

"What on earth is going on up here?"

Blaise said, arms crossed.

"Oh-guys I found Bella."

I said, scratching the back of my sore head. All this drama was far too much for me to handle.

"Don't forget cross-dresser."

Cara added.
I saw that tiny smirk of satisfaction on Cara's face.
The beast in my stomach growled.

"Well...I dunno about you guys but I'm starvin! Let's uhh go eat...?"

I smiled awkwardly.
They all rolled their eyes and we went down to go eat dinner.
Thank god.
Saved by my starvation.
