I yawned, opening the fridge to find myself a half-decent brunch.

"Oh shit there isn't much food left in the house...better go food shoppin' again."

Damn these girls can eat.
I swear I made sure the fridge was completely filled.

"Wh-Whaa..?!"

I was grabbed by the sleeve and I lost my balance.
My head spun for a second.
I wasn't much of a morning person. Well, besides the sleep walking into the woods at 2am.
Ritsu was dragging my arm and pulling me towards the door.

"R-Ritsu...What's goin on? Do you want me to make you some breakfa-"

"It's lunch time, Akimato. And no, I'm fine thanks."

She rolled her eyes and had a rather sarcastic tone in her voice.

Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Or...maybe even fell off it judging by her mood.

"O-k..."

I just followed to the front porch.

She practically shoved me into a bush, and wall-slammed me against...uh well...the wall.

"R-Ritsu, you good?"

Her glare was almost menacing.

"I'll take that s'a no then...?"

"Akimato, I have to talk to you. Like, right now."

I stared at her, awkwardly and blankly. I was bad at talking on an empty stomach.

"Well I mean...technically you are talking to me...right now...."

Her slightly menacing glare became a fierce growl.

"Wow...Ritsu...Chill..you...wake up with your...period or somethin'?"

"Listen. Whatever I say you have no other choice than to trust me. Got it?"

I stayed silent and averted my awkward gaze to the floor.
I desperately wanted to say yes. But that would just be lying.
After what happened with...her and...Lena...I'm not really sure who I can trust 100% anymore.

I feel like everything I've done in the past has only caused problems now. The consequences that I'm facing don't feel right.
I've obviously made a mistake with what I've done with my life.

"....I mean...It kinda depends on what you-"

"Akimato!!"

.......

I moved aside to see what strangely farmiliar voice was shouting my name so early in the morning.
Hang on wait-no it's lunch time isn't it? Crap I'm so
behind in life.
I should just retire and become an old geezer or somethin.

"K-Kei? Is-that you?!"

I moved out of Ritsu's way.

Kei was here!
She actually came to visit.
Man I was not expecting that.
What a pleasant surprise.

RITSU LUMIKKI
"A-Aki...mato."

She moved aside and ran up to this other girl who just so happened to know where we lived.
I didn't even bother to go up and meet her.
I just went back into the house, wishing that I had never woken up this morning.
Aki didn't get the fact that what I was trying to tell her was more important than anything or...anyone.
The information that I had been foolishly keeping to myself this entire time was about to have a huge impact on all of our lives.
If I didn't do something now I don't know what will happen to Akimato, but I don't want to think about it.
All I can do is expect the worst.

BLAISE WILLOW
I was only in my flimsy nightgown and slippers and it was quite cold outside, but something interesting caught my eye so I stepped outside anyway.

"A-Akimato? Is that..."

There was a strange but attractive girl with green hair that was standing outside of our house, and she was...talking to Akimato.

Who on earth is this girl?

I walked up to them, with a firm stance and a straight back.
Although, I probably looked ridiculous because of what I was wearing.
As I walked up to them, they started laughing.
Together.

"Ahaha. Oh hey there Blaise. Um-yeah this is uhh-friend 'a mine. Kei-this is Blaise. Blaise-that's Kei."

Kei..?
Judging by her outfit she looked...Chinese?

"Hey there! The  name's Kei. Kei Yukan."

Yukan? Definately Chinese.

"Oh-Uh-Hi.."

My sentences were so improper but that didn't matter.
Not right now.
The only problem was...Kei Yukan.

"Well-It's pretty cold out here. Why don't you and your Chinese friend come in for a hot drink, Akimato."

"Dah-Sure! Why not."

I turned around and started walking towards the house.

"Oh-and Blaise?"

"Yes Akimato?"

Was she finally going to explain why she was bringing some green-haired Chinese girl into the house?

"Japanese."

.........

"W-What?"

"Kei is Japanese. Not Chinese."

OH MY-

"Oh...I see."

I spun around, practically storming into the house.
I didn't have a reasonable answer as to why I was so agitated but something about this Japanese girl seemed off.
