As the bus arrives at Kennedy High school I sigh. I don't believe that my best friend, Kylie isn't coming to school.
I look out the window without any hope, then I see her pulling up in a taxi.
A taxi? what the hell? Then I decide to jog towards the door, instead of walking without energy. As she comes out of the taxi she looks like a mess. Her copper hair is frizzy and it looks like a birds best.
Her blue Green eyes are glowing and red showing that she didn't get enough sleep. What the hell? I ask using my eyes. By the look she returns I could tell that she doesn't want to talk about it.
I go over to her to help her out. As she pulls together her black jeans and crop top. Together we just stand there looking at what some people call school, and what I call a reality show.
"Well what are we waiting for" Kylie breathes as we start to walk towards the steps that belong to the place considered a School.

As I step into my third period class hands clasp over my eyes out of no where.
"Guess who?" I hear a raspy voice disguise ask.
"Oh shut up, Jay." I say jokingly.
I then turn around and see that he's wearing his cutting sunglasses, I pull them off and put them on myself.
I glance at his deep blue eyes for a second.
His hair is set messy and gelled as usual."After lunch?" he asks.
I nod slightly and pull him in a seat next to mine.
See Jay and I have that type of relationship were we are just the closest that we can ever be. We've known each other since forever. When we were in 7th grade we decided to date, but freshman year we just started to drift apart, romantically, so we decided to remain just aa friends.
Now its Junior year and we are closer than ever. He's always there for me through thick and through thin, and I'm his go to for when he needs to rant.During class Jay and I seemed to be taking notes, but we were just scribbling notes to each other in our notebooks. Old school, but who cares.
Mr. McGerald looked at us every once in a while, once he was convinced he continued to teach us about the History of our boring ass nation. While scanning the room it's obvious that nobody really is paying attention. It's a pretty boring subject.
Jay: he needs a blowie asap, he's too high strung, should relax him a bit
Bet, lemme provide. I wink in the teachers direction while looking at Jay. He bites his lip and as much as I tried to hold it in I couldn't.
"Hahahaha" I laugh out loud, a little too loudly and Jay looks at me like seriously? Although it's clear that he's the cause.
At that moment Mr. McGerald and the rest of the class looks at the both of us and we freeze.
"Give me that notebook right now!" Mr. McGerald yells, stopping the lesson.
I walk up to give it to him eyes wide and mouth shut? My heart races as I grow anxious. It was like my smile melted completely from my face. I felt all eyes starring at me as I shuffled toward the Smart Board.
Mr. McGerald grabs my notebook from my hands aggressively.
"Take one of the text books and begin outlining chapter 17. And you too Mr. Grey!" He says as he's opening my notebook. Almost instantly he shuts the notebook and awkwardly places the book on his desk.
Jay and I start to walk towards the shelf in the back of the room.
As we pick up the text books we look at each other at the same time and laugh softly. Intently realizing the embarrassment that arose in Mr. McGerald
When we return to the double table, we open the text book, slowly being sure to gain attention.
Finally class ends and as I try to slip out quickly Mr. McGerald calls Jay and me over.
"This is unacceptable!" Mr. McGerald lowers his voice, clearly embarrassed.
"Uh bu...." Jay tries to come up with a retort.
"You know you guys could get suspended for this right?" The McAsseater continues, cutting us off.
He just talks and talks and we try to ignore the fact that spit is flying everywhere and that his breath smells putridly of ass.
"So instead you guys are gonna have detention with me for the rest of the week, and what ever you didn't finish outlining, it will be due tomorrow as homework."
"What!?" Jay and I say in unison.
"Dismissed! now get the hell out of here!" After returning my notebook cautiously, he shakes his head while turning away.
As we begin to walk we end up not saying anything at all as we branch off at the end of the hallway.
As I make my way to Chemistry I catch up with Kylie, who has pulled her frizzy copper hair into a neat high pony.
Her make-up was also fixed to make her look amazing.
"Hey Mi!"
"Hey" I say lifelessly.
"Why do look like that?" she asks concerned.
"You don't even wanna know"
"Alrighty then." She says in understanding since she said the same thing.
We continue to walk to Chemistry silently.
