Hello - Slam Poem

Weeping like willow.

Over your halo

And,

That golden glow,

Dreaming of you,

Under mistletoe

And dancing in snow

Love began to grow

And slip like shadow,

Then you said, 'Hello,'

Flourishes of love,

I could not outgrow.

And, That was it,

The fire lit.

Struck first hit.

Could not admit.

In a hall sunlit.

To not commit.

Would make me,

A hypocrite.

The light you emit,

Makes dark moonlit.

But you said it.

For once without wit.

From where I sit.

Till' my face, split

I smile, just a bit.

Seems we just fit.

A perfect knit

Fallen into a pit.

If you permit.

It's not a date.

*please,

Take the bait*

The verdict I await.

You're late!

Calm,

My rapid heart rate.

You had me in checkmate,

Faster than the,

Unemployment rate.

You like me?

That's great!

Lets celebrate!

A flame to kindle.

When you dwindle.

Paper won't crinkle,

Just won't wrinkle.
