Kaito is a hardcore Shrek fan. Like not for the memes. He's seen all the films at least 20 times and knows All Star better than his own name. Maki almost broke up with him when she found out. And by broke up I mean almost straggled him to death.
When ever Kaito walks into someone's dorm, he always walks in on the dorm owner and their bf or gf either making out or having sex. (Except for Maki and Gonta) He really could have gone without seeing his arch nemesis riding his best friend.
Kaito doesn't understand that memes die. He still uses the do u know da wae meme.
