Love hotel rant/theory

So basically, I'm going to be talking about if the Love Hotel scenes in V3 are actually canon, or canon in some way.

In the Love Hotel scenes, Shuichi plays the role of each character's idea partner. Shuichi has to find out what kinda of character he's playing, to not upset his class mate and wake them up.

The Love Hotel interactions are activated when the Love Key is purchased and the day is ended. The scene is supposed to be set in the students dreams. The scenes are an optional side event that is put in as an extra. Monokuma also says the person you spent the night with doesn't remember the dream. All Shuichi says about it outside of the scene is a line when you first wake up after the scene. It is not mentioned by him after this.

So we can say the Love Hotel events are just a secret extra that is not canon in the plot, but are they entirely uncanon?

We can actually learn more about the characters though the hotel scenes. Since Shuichi plays the role of the ideal partner, we can learn what the students ideal partners are.

So in conclusion, the events aren't canon in the plot, but give us canon facts and info about the characters. If that makes any sense...
