I decided not to sleep in Noah's room last night. Even though he urged me to, I knew I would've done something I would regret.
I woke up the next morning to Noah kissing all over my face.
"Goodmorning!" He yelled, kissing my neck, causing me squirm out of sleep.
Once I opened my eyes and saw him, he stopped kissing me and sat on the edge of my bed.
"Jesus, what are you doing?" I laughed, rubbing my eyes.
"I missed kissing you." He smiled, kissing my lips.
I broke away. "Noah, I haven't even brushed my teeth yet." I said, blocking my mouth.
"B, please, we've been having sleepovers since we were little, I've smelled worse." He joked, trying to kiss me.
I rolled over in the bed so I was on my stomach, protecting him from my breath.
"Breakfast is ready, though." He said, shaking my back.
My head instantly perked up and I got out of bed.
I walked over to my suitcase to grab shorts.
"Goddamn, B, you have no idea how much you fuck me up." He said, leaning back on the bed.
I looked back at him. His mouth was slightly ajar and he looked fucking hot.
"Why? What'd I do?" I laughed standing up.
"Every night we slept together and you just wore your underwear, oh my God." He said.
"Noah!" I said, "Wow, you dirty boy." I said, sarcastically, sliding shorts on my body.
"I'm sorry! You're just so pretty and sexy, I can't help myself." He laughed.
"Alright, lets simmer down. We don't even know what we're doing yet." I laughed, throwing my hair into a ponytail.
"Okay, Okay, you're right." He sighed.
After breakfast with his family, we all wanted to spend our last day at the beach. We were leaving tonight around dinner time, so we didn't have a whole lot of time to spare.
I threw on my bathing suit and skipped downstairs, joining everyone.
We all went to the beach and it was pleasantly uncrowded.
We found a couple of chairs, covered by colorful umbrellas, shielding the sun.
"Last one in, is a rotten egg." Taylor yelled, sprinting past us.
Noah laughed and sprinted after her. I love the way they act together, like best friends.
Noah's mom nudged my side. "They're such goofballs." She laughed at her children dunking each other into the water.
"Sure are." I agreed.
"Have you heard from your mom, sweetie? We haven't talked in ages."
"I heard from her a couple nights ago. She said she's staying in Texas a couple more days." I shrugged.
"Is she doing anything fun there?" She smiled, grabbing a water bottle from her cooler.
"I wouldn't know. I haven't really had a conversation with her in forever." I said.
Kellee sighed. "I'm sorry, sweetie." She put her hand on my shoulder. "Just don't give up on her. She loves your father and is having a hard time... adjusting."
"Yeah, you'd think after 7 years she'd be over it."
She sighed and gave me a tight lipped smile. "She'll come around. Just keep being the strong girl we all love." She caressed my cheek.
"I will, Mrs. Cent." I smiled.
She smiled back and sat down on her chair next to Greg who had just gotten adjusted.
I turned towards the beach and Noah was waving me in.
I smiled at the sweet boy and followed him towards the water.
I was still confused at this state we were in. It was so weird to me that we only best friends a week ago and now we were making out. It felt wrong but at the same time, I liked it. It was a completely foreign stage for me.
I walked into the water and was instantly greeted by Noah dunking me under the water.
I surfaced and wiped the water from my eyes.
"You're so dead." I scoffed.
"Oh, you wouldn't kill me." He teased.
"And whys that?" I challenged.
"You know why, B." He smirked.
"I don't wanna go." I whined.
"Me either." Noah said, sprawled out on my bed. He had already been packed for about 30 minutes now, but I was having trouble finding the energy to actually pack.
"Lets just stay." I shrugged, folding one of my shirts into my suitcase.
"Ha, good luck with the price per night on this place." He laughed, scrolling through his phone.
"Yeah, I don't even wanna think about how much this place costs a night." I sighed.
I threw my last few things into my suitcase and zipped it up.
"Guess I'm done." I said, with a frown.
"Finally." He said, getting up from the bed and grabbing both of our suitcases.
I looked out at my balcony. "I'm gonna miss waking up to this view every morning." I frowned.
"I'm gonna miss kissing you on that beach." He said, shooting me a smile.
I was still so shaken by all that has happened. It was all so confusing and so different than any way we had acted before. I guess Noah has seen me in this way for a long time and thats why he was so comfortable, but I on the other hand, was not grasping it all as easy.
The car ride was easier because I took a nap, hoping to get away from the thoughts.
The whole reason why we weren't telling everyone was because we didn't even know if we'd be good as boyfriend and girlfriend. There was no need to stress out right now. But I know that if I were to decide that Noah and I shouldn't date, things would be different regardless. Noah has already expressed so many feelings toward me and we've kissed for God's sake.
I woke up to Noah shaking my shoulder, softly.
"Wake up, B." He said, softly.
I leaned up and stretched my arm. "That was quick." I yawned.
He scoffed. "Yeah, for you. It was a long car ride of you snoring for me." He laughed.
I rolled my eyes and pushed his shoulder.
We hopped out of the car and grabbed my suitcase.
"Here, I'll help you bring it over to your house." He offered.
"Thank you." I smiled up at him.
I grabbed my key for my house when I realized the front door was already unlocked.
"I thought you locked it when you left?" He asked.
"I did." I said, shakily opening the door. I also noticed that there were various lights on that I know, for a fact, that I didn't turn on.
"What the-" I said.
I looked into our kitchen to see the back of a familiar head.
"Mom?" I asked.
