Noah's POV

I've never seen someone more beautiful than Blake. Her tan skin, her long brown hair, and those goddamned lips that I can't stop thinking about.

I thought that if I kept my distance from her today, I'd get over it, but when I saw her in that dress, I lost it.

I urged Blake to buy the dress and she complied. Even something as simple as a dress makes her look so breathtaking. Not that she ever needs much; she always looks breathtaking.

We got back to the house and Blake and I decided to take a walk on the beach.

We slipped our shoes off and walked, side by side, in the sand. The sun was already almost setting after the long day of shopping with two girls.

We were silently walking, just listening to the waves crash against the sand and watching families pack their belongings up for the day.

Out of nowhere, Blake spoke.
"Do you feel like somethings different between us?" She asked.

I thought about. This girl knows everything about me and I tell her everything, yet I had no idea what to say to her.

"Maybe." I said, shoving my hands in my pockets.

She nodded and looked down at the ground.

"Do you feel like somethings different?" I asked, nervously.

"Yeah, I do." She nodded.

I bit the inside of my cheek.

"I should've never kissed you, it was a stupid mistake." I said, shaking my head.

She looked up at me and stopped us in our path, by putting her hand on my arm.

"No, Noah. It wasn't a- nevermind." She stanmered.

"No, what were you gonna say?" I asked, praying to God that she answered with what I was thinking.

"I don't think it was a mistake." She said, avoiding my eyes.

I stood there shocked, had she really just said that?

Blakes POV

Did I really just say that? Out loud? For Noah to hear?

"I just meant like-"

"Did you wanna kiss?" He asked, interrupting me.

"Did you wanna kiss?" I asked him.

"I asked you first." He said, smirking at me.

"Okay, um, yea I did." I said, swallowing the pit in my throat.

He smiled and laughed, leaning back.

"What the hell is so funny?" I laughed, hitting his arm.

He smiled and grabbed my waist, pulling me closer to him.

"Whats funny is that I've wanted to do that for 18 years." He smiled.

He brushed a strand of hair behind my ear, just smiling.

"Can I kiss you again?" He asked, inching towards me.

"Yes, you may." I laughed, reaching my hand up towards his neck.

Then, he kissed me.

He held me close by my waist and kissed me hard. It felt like fireworks all over again.

He smiled into the kiss, making me smile too.

It was passionate and it was amazing.

Unfortunately, Noah pulled away slowly, opening his eyes.

He laughed, still holding me by the waist.

"Ahh, what the fuck are we gonna do?" He laughed.

"Can you pass the rolls?" Taylor asked.

I lifted up the basket and handed it to her with a smile. She thanked me and continued eating.

Once Noah's parents got home, we all decided to go out for dinner at a fancy, local italian place.

Noah and I decided mutually to not tell anyone right now just because, we didn't even know ourselves. But now, as I was sitting next to Noah, he was rubbing circles above my knee.

"So how was your guys day?" Kellee asked.

"It was good, the girls went shopping at literally every store and it was fun." Noah smiled, eating his food.

"Yeah, it was so much fun. Blake found this beautiful dress that she looks awesome in." Taylor said, winking at me.

Noah squeezed my knee, making me clear my throat.

"Yeah, it was great. Pretty cheap too." I smiled.

"Thats great. We went to a wine tasting boat cruise today." Kellee said.

"Oh yeah? How was that?" Noah asked.

He started rubbing his hand up and down my thigh, giving me goosebumps. I don't know where he got all of this confidence all of the sudden, but I was enjoying the hell out of it.

He leaned in close to my ear while no one else was listening. "It's kind of fun sneaking around, huh?" He whispered.

After dinner, we all went home and Noah and I walked upstairs.

I was about to head to my room when he grabbed my hand and pulled me into his arms, ushering us into his room.

He wasted no time in closing the door and kissing me up against the wall.

I pulled away, giggling.

"Oh my God, what are we doing?" I laughed at how different our situation was. We were best friends yesterday and today we were making out in secret.

"I'm not sure but all I know is that I've been wanting to kiss you for 18 years and we gotta make up for lost time." He said, kissing me once again.

I broke the kiss once more. "Thats all I wanna do too, but I think we need to figure some things out." I said, looking up at him.

He let go of me. "Alright, like what?"

"Well for starters, are we gonna tell anyone?" I asked.

He thought for a moment as he went and sat on his bed. "I'm not sure, everybody only sees us as best friends."

"Thats what I'm saying." I said, going to sit next to him.

"It is kinda fun sneaking around." He smirked at me.

"It is." I smiled back. "I guess, while we figure this out we can keep it a secret?" I offered.

"I'd be down for that." He nodded.

"I mean just until we figure all of this out. We don't even know if we could date or whatever."

"Yeah, and I don't want to tell everyone we're dating and then if it doesnt work out, it'll be weird between us." He said.

"This can be our... trial run, I guess." I laughed.

He smiled back. "Guess so." He held out his hand. "Deal?"

"Deal." I said, shaking it.

"Alright, now come here." He said, taking my cheek with his thumb and bringing my lips to his.
