Sherry sat there, completely silent. Elena could tell that she was trying to think of something that wouldn't scare them. Silver started to worry that all the stress would bring Sherry to tears. Then, Sherry went over to Aiden.
"W-what do I do," she whispered, "What if I s-scare them off?!"
"Just be honest," Aiden whispered back, "Elena can tell if your lying. Trust me."
"O-ok," Sherry mumbled and turned to the other two, "promise not to freak out?"
"Promise," the two said in unison. They tried very hard too. Once Sherry finished explaining, Silver looked at Elena.
"Is that true El," Silver whispered.
"It is," she replied.
"Well sh!t...," Silver said out loud.
"Silver," Aiden exclaimed, "Watch your language."
"Hey, you can't blame me," Silver said back, "that sounded painful." He looked at Sherry.
"You sure you're ok," Silver asked, now a little concerned.
"What do you mean," Sherry asked. Silver started shaking her shoulders.
"ARE YOU MENTALLY STABLE WOMAN," Silver shouted.
"I don't know," she muttered, a little dizzy. Silver immediately looked at Aiden.
"She needs to go to a hospital," Silver whispered. Sherry puffed one of her cheeks.
"I can hear you," Sherry pouted.
"Oh...right," Silver said as he face-palmed, "She's a weredog. I forgot. Um...sorry."
"I've never been to a hospital though," Sherry sighed, "I'm not even allowed to go outside the house. They don't like it when I go outside."
"What? Why," Aiden asked.
"Something about something hurting me," she replied, "I zone out when my parents scold me so I only hear bits and pieces of what they say."
"So she's got one of those parents," Elena mumbled.
"What do you mean by that," Sherry asked, a little confused.
"Well," Elena started, "some parents are so protective over their child or children that they even tell them that going outside is bad. Honestly, it's not. They're just too scared to let their children go that they make the children never want to leave. They want to stay with their child for as long as they live. However, it's not always healthy for the child. Doing this can make them develop trust-issues towards other-"
"I think she gets it," Silver interrupted, "you can be quiet now."
"Ok ok," Elena replied, "I have a question though."
"What is it," Sherry said.
"Do you know what school is," Elena asked.
"Nope," she answered.
"Dude," Silver exclaimed looking at Aiden, "isn't she like 10 or something?"
"Yeah," Aiden said, "hasn't even started school yet."
"Well," Mari chimed in, "I guess we'll get her started then."
"Woah," Silver exclaimed, startled, "please don't sneak in like that."
"Hehe," she giggled, "sorry Silver." While the others chatted, Sherry sat there. For once, she felt safe...and happy.
