Once she finished changing, she darted to the room, slammed the door open, and pulled the curtains away from the window. And there she was. Her sister, Violet. She was standing on the edge of the window, holding a baseball bat, and giving Sherry the same angry glare she gave her at their house. Then, she started smiling.
"Did you really think I'd let you get away from me without a punishment, Sherilyn," Violet snickered. Sherry backed away a little, only for Violet to grab her hair and pull Sherry towards her.
"What's wrong," Violet asked, "Not even gonna say hello to your big sister? That's quite rude of you, little sister." Sherry was trembling, trying to hold back the tears that were forming in her eyes.
"P-please," she begged, "Let me go..." This angered Violet. She used the bat to hold Sherry over the edge of the window. She was on the second floor.
"For a two story mansion, that's a long fall," Violet grinned, "It would be a shame if I were to...Oh I dunno...accidentally drop you." Just as she finished her sentence, she loosened her grip. This scared Sherry. She screamed and cried, begging for Violet to bring her back inside. Violet laughed at her screams.
"Aww," Violet teased, "is little sister afraid of falling?" Sherry nodded and Violet giggled. She loosened a little more. Then, they heard footsteps.
"Sherry," Elena called, "Where are you?!"
"Elena," Sherry cried, "Help m-" Violet gagged Sherry's mouth with duct tape. Then, she dragged Sherry back inside, and started beating her with the bat, eventually knocking Sherry out.
"Sherry," Elena shouted as she entered the room, only to see a girl with bright purple eyes standing on the edge again, carrying Sherry who was covered in bruises.
"Put her down now," Elena demanded as Aiden Silver, and Mari entered the room. Violet held the knife, the same knife she used to stab Sherry's eye, to her neck. Aiden used magic to teleport Sherry to him. He held her gently as to not increase the pain. Silver grabbed Violet and Mari pinned her against the wall. Violet growled, barked, and tried to bite them.
"Let me go," Violet growled, "LET ME GO!!!" Elena knocked her out so that Sherry could sleep.
"Is Sherry ok, Aiden," Elena asked. Aiden checked Sherry's wounds. Some were just bruises, but others were starting to bleed.
"She's bleeding," Aiden replied, "let's get her to the hospital." Aiden carried Sherry (bridal style cause why tf not) to the car, Mari placed Violet's unconscious body in the trunk, Silver and Elena got in the car and sat in the passenger seats with Aiden and Sherry. They drove to the hospital and when they walked in, they saw Hailey, Sherry's mother.
So she works here, Aiden thought. When she looked up and saw her daughter covered in blood and bruises, she dropped the clipboard and pen she was holding. She ran over to them crying.
"What happened to her," Hailey asked through tears.
"Violet," Aiden said. Sherry's mother led them to a room and called a doctor over. Then, she went to her office and called her husband.
"Honey, is Violet there," she said.
"I-I don't know," he answered sounding very panicked, "I can't find her! Wait...Oh no. She didn't find Sherilyn, did she?!"
"It's ok Oli," she reassured, "she's here with me at the hospital. Yes, Violet got to her, but she didn't do as much as we feared. The boy we sent her with, Aiden, and his friends got to her before Violet could do any serious damage."
"Oh thank goodness," Sherry's father sighed, "How is she?"
"The doctor is checking on her, so I don't know yet," Hailey replied, "I'm sure she's going to be fine." Just as she finished her sentence, Mari walked over.
"Oh, hello ma'am," Sherry's mother said, "I'll call you back when I get more info, k? Bye." She hung up and looked over to Aiden's mother.
"Is she ok," Hailey asked. Mari shrugged. They talked for a bit, then the doctor walked out of the room.
"How is she," Mari asked. The doctor gave the two ladies his clipboard.
"There's a fracture in her skull," he informed as he turned to Hailey, "Violet used a metal bat on her. She won't wake up for about 4 days. I'm quite surprised though, normally a metal bat would have done more."
"Well Sherry's bones are a lot stronger than Violet knows," Hailey said a little relieved, "I'm glad she's ok."
"Me too," Mari sighed, "I'm gonna go check on my son." She walked to the room and opened the door.
