Day 8

Kim Seokjin pants, leaning down and he rests his palms on his knees for support. Dance practise is rigourous, as it always is. It tires him out, as it always does.

He glances up to see his dongsaengs, and he sees the exhaustion in their eyes. They are tired. Of course they are.

'At least they don't look like a dying whale.' His mind astringingly supplies.

He has always admired his group for how well they dance. They move flawlessly, actions smooth and fluid.

Jin is entranced everytime he sees them, especially Jimin and Hoseok. Taehyung and Jungkook are good dancers, too. Although they are so much younger than him, they dance so much better than he does. And that's only dancing. Yoongi, although he never signed up for such a complex dance, does fantastically despite being tired and sleepy all the time. People sleep on his dancing, but Seokjin never does. Namjoon, as much as people may preach about him being a bad dancer, Jin genuinely thinks that's a load of crap because he does so wonderfully and people need to open their eyes.

Jin has fun dancing with his members. He does. Honestly, anything is fun as long as he was with them. But that doesn't matter, he also falls behind and has to work extra hard to achieve the bare minimum. And he's tired. He remembers when he used to like dancing for what it was. That was before. Before he stopped being ignorant. Before his fans and the media began pointing out he's lacking. He remembers how he honestly thought he was decent. But now he knows better.

But his members are always here for him. So Seokjin doesn't dwell on it. At least, he tries not to.

Practise has finally ended for today, and Seokjin feels so grateful that it has. He's drained.

'Though you barely did anything but flop around.' The voice chimes.

He doesn't disagree.

"Hyung! Let's go!" Jungkook calls out, breaking him out of his thoughts and Jin snaps back.

"Coming!"

As he pushed himself off the wooden floors, jogging to catch up, a heavy feeling gnaws at his chest.

'Ah, I'm tired.'

It most certainly doesn't help that he's the boys' official visual, either.
Seokjin has always boasted about his face and looks, playfully claiming to be 'World Wide Handsome' and what not. It has became a running gag, all around the world.

Oh, how he wishes he genuinely thinks that. Things would have been so much easier.

But no one has to know how he feels about himself. So what does it matter?

Seokjin sighs.

The familiar feeling of inferiority overtakes him again.

Jin realises.
The only one that undeniably lacks is him.

Today, he takes a picture of the rest at dance practice - a threshold he hopes to reach.
