Nowadays, it's hard for them to have any free time at all.
So, when manager Sejin announced that they have a free day for rest and leisure today, the group is estatic- Or at least, Jin is.Maybe today, they can finally relax together again.
But, he should have known, honestly. To get to where they are now, there was never that much room for play during busy times of comebacks. So he shouldn't be so surprised when his offer to hang out as a group, put on a movie and relax for the day, is met with rejection from multiple people this afternoon.
"Hyung, sorry, but I need to finish this song. Maybe when I'm done..." Yoongi trails off.
"Oh, yeah, it's okay. Please don't push yourself too hard."
Jin sucks up the disappointment, and puts on a smile to reassure his younger."Oh, Hyung, go ahead. I still need to correct some parts of the choreography with Jimin, we'll join you later?" Hobi says with a nervous smile.
"Oh... Of course! Good luck, and don't overwork yourselves, okay?"
The disappointment is there again, but still, he smiles."Ah, hyung, Jungkook asked me to help him edit a GCF today. It'll take pretty long, so maybe next time?"
Taehyung says, his lips formed in an apologetic smile."Ah... Alright, have fun, you two."
It surprises him how much a smile can hide. So he smiles the disappointment away."Ah, I'm composing today, it's still comeback season so I want to make the most of this." Namjoon informs. "Shouldn't you work on your song, hyung?"
Oh. The song. He's supposed to write one for their latest comeback. He's been working on it since he's been tasked, though.
But he swallows his disappointment again, thanking the leader.
"Yeah, you're right. I'll do that. Thanks, Joon."
"No problem."
And the estacy is washed away, only a ghost of the feeling is around, replaced by a heaviness in his chest.
Today, he takes a picture of his notebook- A reminder that his career is more important than himself.
