This book is starting off so boring and no one is reading it but atp I just like writing so..

To say Jungkook was tired would be the biggest understatement of the year.

The boy was exhausted from running border checks, taking a double shift to let one of his members rest more. He was sore from fighting off rogues, lucky to only get attacked by ones half his size, but unlucky that it was one against five. Hungry, dirty, sleepy, jungkook thought if this is what it was like to be alpha, then he might die before he's 30.

And to add the cherry on top of his wonderful first day experience, he missed jimin tremendously. He texted him as soon as he was able to, but the connection where they were sucked, and his head was throbbing so much that he didn't even want to look at his phone.

Now being night time, jungkook wandered around the campsite, making sure everyone was doing okay and had everything they needed. He saw members bandaging up their wounds, eating, laughing and talking, playing games, or sleeping in their wolf forms.

Walking back to where his father and leaders had set up, he plops down and begins making soup and warming up chicken over the fire.

Stretching out his limbs, a figure appears to his side, making him look up to see who it was. Looking over, jungkook recognizes the person as the future alpha of the blue moon pack, although he doesn't remember his name.

"Can I join you?" The other asks him.

"Sure," Jungkook points to an extra chair.

Sitting down, the other introduces himself, "my names hoseok. I'm from blue moon... but I'm sure you already know this."

"Ah, yes! Sorry, I'm really bad at remembering names"

"Nah you cool bro, theres more important things going on right now than remembering names," Hoseok tells him, "I know you're Jungkook though. Kinda hard not to remember."

"Oh? I hope that's not a bad thing..."

"No no no, you're just very well known. I mean, being future alpha of the biggest and strongest pack and all... and then a lot of the girls I meet also tend to swoon over you," he laughs, "you've got quite a lot of choices to pick from," he winks and wiggles his eyebrows.

"Ah, well shit," Jungkook laughs, "I ain't alpha yet. Also, I've been taken for quite a long time now, but I guess everyone continues to ignore that."

"Oh! Um, sorry.." Hoseok mutters, embarrassed.

"It's fine, I'm just messing with you, It really doesn't bother me"

"well maybe now Ill have a chance with all the ladies," Hoseok jokes, "who's your lucky lady though?"

Glancing over, jungkook stares at the fire and his soup, casually replying, "his name is jimin."

"Oh?... OHHHHH, that's so cute!"

Laughing at the others remark and surprise, jungkook replies with an "mhMm.."

"So is he here then?"

"No, he hasn't had any training so he's home right now. Because our pack is so big, we take volunteers for our fighters, so training isn't required anyways, but I know he probably wishes he were out here now"

"Oh wow, that's nice. Unless they're an omega, everyone begins training at age 14 in our pack," Hoseok comments, looking over his shoulder towards his pack, he points, "thats why my brothers are here right now. They're only 15.. they're good fighters of course, but I still try to keep an eye on them when we're out on the borders."

Jungkook hummed in appreciation, "wow, and to think I'm the future alpha but this is my first time out here, while they're doing this because... well I guess they have to. But still..."
Both the boys laugh, jungkook taking the chicken that's been cooking the whole time, and diving it up onto two plates, offering one to hoseok.

Thanking him, Hoseok starts to eat, jungkook then asking "so do you have any other siblings? I mean, I guess they'd have to be younger than 14 if they're not here like your brothers are."

Nodding, Hoseok replies, "yep! There's Rose, she's 13, jeno and jaemin are the second twins, they're 8, and then my brother.. taehyung, he's 17."

"Wow...." jungkook muttered, surprised at how big the others family was.

"I know right. Mom and dad sure got around."

"Oh god... but, wait. If you're other brother is 17, then he's here too right?"

"Um," Hoseok scratched his head. He didn't ever tell anyone his brother was an omega. No one in the family did. They didn't want to risk anything bad happening to him because of his status, so although it wasn't some huge secret, it was more like 'unshared information for a good cause'. "He just wasn't great in training, so my parents decided they could spare one less fighter."

Jungkook just nodded his head, believing Hoseok's lie, but also not really caring if there was another reason.

The two finished the food, a casual conversation being carried to pass the time.

Getting up, Hoseok turns to jungkook telling him, "I should probably get going and get some sleep. Thanks for sharing your food with me though! It was nice meeting you. I'll have to return the favor, so when this whole thing is over, you should come over sometime! Our house is most definitely a lot smaller than your pack house, but I'm sure my family already is making yours go insane... you could bring jimin too! D'love to meet the guy."

"Ah, you don't have to return any favor, really. But I'd still love to come over and meet your siblings, regardlessly. And I'm sure jimin has probably already made friends with some of your members, so he'd love to come."

"Cool!"

waving, jungkook finishes, "stay safe out there!"

Walking away, Hoseok yells over his shoulder, "you too! Kick some rogue ass"

Laughing, jungkook cleans up, and then shifts into his wolf, deciding it was nice enough to sleep outside.

'Shit I forgot to see if jimin replied' he thought to himself.

However, the thought of sleep overcame missing jimin, and soon jungkook was fast asleep.
