I AM ON A ROLL WITH THESE UPDATES! It's bc I have no life. It's fine. I'm fine.

Why does he do this? Why does he keep playing with my emotions. One second he's telling me he doesn't want to have me as a mate, but the next second he's being gentle, nice, and caring towards me.

Taehyungs tears fall onto his pillow, conflicted as usual. Hearing a knock on his door, taehyung let's out a muffled, "who is it?"

"Um, it's me- kai. Can I come in tae?"

Wiping his nose, taehyung answers, "yeah, come in."

Letting himself in, kai rushes in to sit next to his friend. "Taehyung, I'm so sorry about what happened- I should've stayed with you. I should've been more stubborn and not let you be alone when I could clearly tell you were sad-"

"It's okay, seriously. Please, don't worry about me..." taehyung turns his head to look at kai.

Once kai sees his eyes are red and puffy from crying, he reaches out to brush the youngers hair in a soothing matter, "Tae... please? Don't hold it in.."

But taehyung just shakes his head, "I- I can't."

Kai exhales loudly; he's worried about his friend. He cares so much for him. He's never seen taehyung so sad and broken either. Not until now. Which is why he keeps pushing and asking for the truth.

"Can you just lay with me? Like when we were younger..And- and you'd lay with me to help me sleep?" Taehyung asks, not wanting his friend to get mad at him.

Finally smiling, kai replies, "sure tae bear. Sure," and lays next to the smaller male, wrapping his arm around the younger and bringing him closer so that he was on his back while taehyung had his head on his shoulder.

"Wanna rest until dinner? We have 45 minutes or so."

Humming in response, taehyung shuts his eyes and drifts off to sleep.

crunch. Crunch. Crunch.

Taehyung wakes up to the noise of... crunching?

Squinting his eyes from just waking up, he sits up on his elbows to see yoongi sitting on the edge of his bed, eating from a bag of chips.

"Y-yoongi?"

"Time to wake up."

"What in gods name are you doing?"

"Sitting. Eating."

"But, how long have you been sitting there? And why..."

Shrugging, yoongi just answers, "not long. Maybe 5 minutes. And because you guys looked dead asleep so I figured letting you sleep a little longer wouldn't hurt"

"Um.. thanks?"

Standing up and stretching his arms in the air, yoongi says, "no problem. Dinners starting though, so hurry up," and he walks out of the room.

Sitting for a few seconds, taehyung then moves to wake up kai. He's used to yoongis weird antics, but he hopes his friend won't say anything about what he saw.

"Kai?" Shaking his friend a little, taehyung continues, "kai wake up! It's time to eat."

Mumbling, kai yawns and sits up, "alright, let's go."

Grabbing one of kais fingers in his hand, taehyung drags the older along with him. The two walk downstairs and into the dining room. Although it's noisy and busy, many people still look in the direction of the two males once they enter.
