"Tae?" Jungkook calls out, walking upstairs.

"In my room!"

The older makes his way to the room, walking in to see taehyung on the phone. The smaller male grins at him and mouths the words 'my brother', and jungkooks nods. He walks over and sits by taehyung, resting his chin on the others shoulder.

"...yeah, hey hobi wanna talk to kookie?"

Jungkook hears a muffled 'yes' and Taehyung hands over the phone, "hello?"

"Aye jungkook, I hear you and my brother are official now," Hoseok says in a friendly tone.

"Aha, yeah..."

"Did you use protection?"

Jungkook chokes on his words, coughing before he can reply, "I uh- I mean... we..."

"Jungkook I'm just kidding, I don't need to know all that." Hoseok tells the male, laughing hysterically on the other side of the phone.

"Oh.. oh right." Jungkooks face is red, and he fidgets around from the awkwardness he feels.

"Hey, but really. Take care of my baby okay? I want to see him soon. Have you two even talked about- you know, everything?" He refers to the fact about taehyung being jungkooks luna and having to stay with the Themis pack, but jungkook understands the meaning.

"Don't worry, I promise he's safe with me. But about the other part, no... we haven't yet..."

"Well. I'll let you two figure that out. Soon, okay? Ill let you go now, but lemme say bye to my brother first kay?"

"Yeah sure, later Hoseok," Jungkook ends his conversation with Hoseok and gives the phone back to taehyung. Taehyung ends the call with his brother after a couple more minutes, and the two of them are left in silence.

"So whatcha gotta talk to me about kookie?" Taehyung tilts his head to the side, wanting to know what his brother and mate were conversing about.

"Well..." Jungkook sighs. "Y'know how I'm the future alpha of Themis, after my father?" he softly asks as he plays with the youngers hands.

"Mhm!" Taehyung nods enthusiastically

"And, yknow how your mom is the packs Luna to your father? who is the alpha..."

"...mhm...?"

"Well.. someday soon-ish, you're going to be my Luna. Themis' Luna-" Jungkook bites down on his lip, scared of how taehyung might react.

Taehyung freezes up, "really?"

"Yes?" It came out more like a question than an answer, but jungkook was about to start sweating like a whore in a church; he really didn't want taehyung to be upset with this idea. He wouldn't know what to do if taehyung totally hated this fact.

But taehyung starts to clap, ridding jungkook of his fears, "yyyaaaaaAAAAAYYYYY"

Jungkook is in shock to say the least, but quickly regains his composure and smiles like a dork at his mates cuteness. "You're excited baby? I was scared you'd be sad or something..."

"No kookie! Why would I be sad about getting to be your luna?! It's what being your mate comes with, so of course I'm happy," taehyung replies in a 'duh' tone of voice.

"And what about your family?" Jungkook is thrilled the younger is happy, but he wants to make sure taehyung knows all aspects of his future life- which includes not being able to see his family everyday.

Taehyung shrugs a little, "I love them and I'll miss them immensely... but I've always been so reliant and needy towards them, that I feel like at some point I would've had to break away... so why not now? I'm grateful for everything they've given me, but sometimes I really did feel trapped... they were so protective of me - and I know I'm unable to fend for myself - but I'd like to at least try. I gotta be somewhat capable of living my own life. Besides. I'll still get to see them a lot, it just won't be everyday anymore."

Jungkook kisses the top of taehyungs head, "baby, you dont give yourself enough credit."

Taehyung blushes, "kookiieee"

"M'not sorry: also, I know you just said you were really dependent on and protected by your family , but I have to say... I'm probably one hundred times more protective of you, and I want you to rely on me- at least with some things..."

"I know kookie, and that's okay; it's different with you..." taehyung looks down in embarrassment, "it's different cause you're my mate. And I like how you make me feel safe and take care of me. It makes me feel as though I'm special in your life. Not that I wasn't special to my family of course, but with them it felt like they 'have' to protect me because I'm the weakling... but with you, i just feel loved."

Jungkooks eyes shine with adoration and he suddenly grabs taehyung and lifts him up, setting the younger sideways on his lap, "you are special to me; and I'm always going to regret not seeing that when we first met, but now I know and I will never let you go. You make me happy~you make me feel jealous~I miss you even when I'm away for ten minutes. You make me feel loved and I feel safe giving my all to you; I trust you. I will be forever grateful that I got you as a mate and for how you get to be by my side as Luna. I know you don't believe it, and you look down on yourself so much; and I know a lot of that is my fault, because I gave you many doubts: but now? Now I know, without a doubt,

you are the one for me"

Wow I really hate how I ended this story so abruptly but tbh I was getting tired of it LMAO. There's gonna be one more ch. after this one- the "epilogue" I guess... it'll be decently long ? Idk. Anyways, sorry for making you read this crappy ass story but it's almost over !!
