Jimin is laying in bed with jungkook, half of his body on his boyfriend, half on the bed. They decided to cuddle since jungkook was too tired to do anything else. Both of the boys were in a comfortable silence playing games on their phones, when they hear a loud bell signaling dinner was ready. Jungkook stretches his arms in the air, and jimin lets out a large yawn.

"Ready to go?" Jungkook asks

"No, but we should go or else Jin will come up here yelling at us and rant about how ungrateful we are" jimin giggles.

Jungkook lets out a slight laugh, knowing that jimin was telling the truth. The two begin to leave their room before jimin asks, "hey, do you think tae bear is awake?"

"Hmm.. i actually don't know. Wanna see?"

"Sure, gimme a second," jimin says before knocking lightly on taehyungs door. To his surprise, the door opens a few seconds later, but even more surprising was that it wasn't his friend to do so. "Oh.. hi, uh... is taehyung in there?" Jimin feels a little awkward, but it's not like he could walk away now.

The person who opened the door was a tall guy, with a pretty decent looking face and fairly large muscles- jimin would have to admit to this fact. He opened his mouth to answer, but suddenly a head pops out from underneath his arm that was still on the door handle.

"MINNIE!" Exclaims taehyung, excited to see his friend.

Jimin face instantly lights up, "TAE BEAR! We were just seeing if you were ready for lunch, but it seems you are."

Suddenly noticing jungkook was there too, taehyungs smile falters a little, but he still acts happy, "yep! Oh! This is my friend- kai. He woke me up" the younger suddenly remembered jimin didn't know his friends, so he introduced the two- two not three.

"Hi kai," jimin offers

"Hello," the male smiles, but it doesn't reach his eyes.

Feeling uncomfortable again, jimin backs up into his boyfriend, feeling safe once he feels an arm go around his waist. "Well tae.. we'll just see you downstairs ok? Hurry though!"

Taehyung, who was obviously watching what was happening, nods once without looking into his friends eyes, "okay.."

Kai notices the change in the smaller males attitude, so he quickly tucks his head back under his arm, and closes the door.

Jimin is startled from kais actions, but after only a few seconds of silence he just says, "well. That was weird... let's go," he pulls jungkook with him, brushing off the tense energy in the air.

Jungkooks hand was still around jimins waist, but jimin never once looked at him to question this skinship, as It was a normal action his boyfriend had always done.

But if he had looked up this time, he would've seen jungkooks face to be a slightly redder shade. He would've seen the daggers his eyes were shooting at the new male they just met.

When Jimin backed up into jungkooks body, although he felt a sense of comfort, how would he have known that this time jungkook holding onto him was his way of holding onto self control.

Jungkook didn't want to lose his anger. He's never felt the sudden urge to punch someone in the face for a stupid or unjustified reason. He's never felt his blood feel like it was boiling.

But seeing another male in his mates room; behind a closed door, acting protective over the younger, and being cold towards his boyfriend. Yeah, that was almost a breaking point for him.

But jungkook didn't want to lash out- not over a guy he just met or the boy who has just made his life a whole lot harder. So gripping onto Jimin was a way for him to create a 'barrier' in order for him to stay calm and keep him in check with reality.

Reality:
1. He will be with Jimin
2. He will reject taehyung
3. He doesn't have any feelings for taehyung- good or bad
4. This choice jungkook made- is based on love. Isn't it? And he loves Jimin. Mates didn't always have to love each other. He knew of a few alphas who kept a mate, but both have 3 or more affairs and families. And that was something he definitely had no intentions of doing, so why risk not only breaking a promise to Jimin, but taking a chance on someone he doesn't know? For the chance his mate would possibly love him or him to return the feelings? No. This was jungkooks best option.

This is why he thought he would be okay at lunch. He was listening to his boyfriend talk and laugh, smiling at his happiness. But every so often he would keep glancing over to the side of the room where taehyungs family and pack was sitting. And taehyung-who laughed so hard listening to his three brothers tell stories. Who also showed a beautiful box smile when listening to Kai talk, since he was sitting right next to him.

6. He was jealous and angry? - feelings he shouldn't have for a guy he supposedly didn't care about.

As jungkook was unknowingly glaring at kai, his mom suddenly stands up, along with his father and taehyungs parents too. The room falls silent, everyone ready to listen to their alphas or lunas.

Taehyungs mom speaks first, "first of all, the blue moon pack would like to thank the Themis luna and jin for preparing a meal that was absolutely delicious, but Im sure was also very hard to make, seeing that you had to make double the already large portions," the side of the room blue moon sat at clapped, showing their gratitude.

Jungkook peeks over at taehyung yet again, only to see the male clapping adorably but distracted and listening to kai who was whispering in his ear, unnecessarily close.

Sticking his tongue on the side of his cheek, he looks back at his mom who was ready to talk next. "It has truly been a pleasure to host the blue moon pack. They have been wonderful guests and I think we can all agree that new lifetime friendships have been formed."

Now, jungkooks father takes his turn, "while we were fighting those damn rogues, although we beat them," a few cheers are heard, "they didn't go down without a fight."

He looks over to taehyungs father who nods taking the signal that it's his turn, "I have yet to tell my family this, but now I will tell everyone. The main pack house was destroyed- the rogues burnt it down. Two more of our pack houses were wrecked, but only in a few places. Because of this, if you live in the main pack house or pack houses #5 and #9, the Themis pack has so kindly offered to allow us to extend our stay." Gasps are heard this time instead of cheers.

Taehyungs family especially looks stunned, but given the circumstances, who wouldn't be? The home they grew up and lived in is gone. Just like that.

Taehyungs father continues "if you are not in the houses I just said, then you will be heading back tonight. Some of the leaders will head back with you- they will be in charge and help run the place until I return." He turns to the Themis alpha and Luna, "thank you once again for your kindness. We will repay you in every way we can once we get stable and on our feet again"

Shaking her head, jungkooks mom replies, "please- we are just glad that we can give you a place to stay and be safe. Our alliance has become a friendship, and that is enough for us."

Jungkooks father finishes, "I know you all are still dying to eat, so please continue on- thank you for listening"

And with that everyone begins to eat and talk again. Surprised about this news, Jimin looks over to jungkook, "did you know about this?"

Jungkook, who looked in a daze, shakes his head, "no... I guess I never did realize until now  that we fought as far away from their main living area, so I never saw their houses."

Shrugging, Jimin feels sad, "I feel awful. That would suck to have your house burn down. Think of all the memories that are now lost. Oh my poor tae bear! I wanted him to stay longer, but not for a reason like this!"

Jungkooks eyes widen even more. He was so distracted from the big news, that he didn't even think of the bigger picture.

Taehyung was in the alphas family.
He lived in the main pack house.
He had been living in jungkooks house for the past two weeks.

And now, he was staying.

As if sensing jungkooks realization, taehyung looks over towards his mate, who was already looking at him. Their eyes meet, and both of their expressions read a painful 'oh shit'.

7. Jungkook was screwed.
