I stared at her the whole night. Now that she's my arms I won't let her get away from me.
I know we will have more fights together. But we will never separate. God knows how difficult it is to live without her on my side. I'll lose my sanity. I'll lose my way. I won't never let that happen again.
I wasn't able to sleep last night. I went straight to Ginna's condo. She immediately opened the door when I knocked.
"Hey kuya." Bungad niya.
"Ginna.." Malalim ang boses ko nang tiningnan siya.
"What?"
"What did you tell Esguerra yesterday?"
She sat down. I did the same too.
"Ang akin lang kuya, sana nagtanda ka na. She broke your heart! You became devastated when she left you. Tapos, malalaman kong nagkabalikan na pala kayo?"
"Ginna.. Hindi mo na dapat ginawa iyon."
"Why? She deserve that." She even rolled her eyes.
"Ginna. Esguerra is my happiness. If you don't support with my decision wala na akong magagawa doon. But please, understand me. Don't you want me to become happy? Ilang taon na iyong pinagkait sa amin."
"Kuya.."
"Ginna, we're finally good. Kung ano man ang mangyari, sa amin na lang iyon. Alagaan mo na lang 'yang baby mo."
"Fine, if that's what you want. Tsaka, I'm taking care of my baby kaya. Doble ang pagiingat ko lalo ayaw ko na siyang matulad kay Hanzel." I smiled. I patted her back.
"Thanks Ginna."
"Love you kuya, have you eaten?"
"Hindi pa, but I need to go to work now. Dinaanan lang kita."
"Okay kuya, take care."
I squeezed my eyes when I felt my temple throb. I still have pile of cases to work on. I went back home. I immediately caught her on the sofa.
"Bakit di ka pa natutulog?"
"Hihinitay kita." I heaved a great sigh.
"Rest Rashiel." Nauna na akong maglakad papuntang kwarto. I felt her following me. I laid on the bed and saw her there still standing.
"Aren't you going to sleep?" My voice still calm. I'm a little sleepy too.
"I-I'll.." I moved forward and stretched my arms to get her. Iyong pagod ko ngayon nawawala na makita ko lang siya.
"P-Padua."
"Let's sleep." Ikinawit ko ang aking braso sa leeg niya habang pagilid siyang nakahiga at ang isa nama'y nasa bewang niya.
"Bati na tayo?"
"Kailan ba tayo nag away?"
"Inaway mo kaya ako." I made her look at me. I cupped her face with my hands.
"I never wanted to argue with you Esguerra. Ang akin lang, sana wag namang ganon ulit. You know how much I've been fighting for you.."
"Sorry."
"Forgiven." Mas lalo ko siyang niyakap at nakasubsob na ang mukha ko sa leeg niya habang yakap ko pa rin siya. I love it when I bury my nose in her hair.
"Anong shampoo mo?"
"Dove."
"Ang bango. Can I try that too?" Hinampas niya naman ako.
