𝐃𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞

S E V E N T E E N

     "Jungkook, wake up, the doctor needs to talk to you," Yoongi breathed, shaking the brunet's shoulder. "C'mon, you slouch, it's about Jeongguk, he's out of surgery now." He continued to inform his young friend.

Jungkook blinked rapidly, feeling weight in his arms and on his lap. He looked down, seeing the most adorable look known to earth.

Taehyung's plump lips pushed into a pout, small and soft snores exiting from his throat, his long lashes laid on his soft, rosy red cheeks. He had a slight double chin but the Jeon Twin adored everything, his curly, wavy hair covering his forehead, the peaceful look he held.

Is this a crush?

Jungkook shook his head, blinking again before he looked up at Yoongi. "How do I put him down?" He asked nervously, frowning.

"I don't know, you put him on your lap, you take him off. I'll just tell the doctor to come to you, though, since you can't really get up." Yoongi mumbled, his long hair covering the fact he also had a bruised eye.

The older walked away to retrieve the doctor, leaving Jungkook with Taehyung on his lap. Jungkook looked around, realization didn't hit him too much yet. He was gathering nearby and any type of information around him.

Jimin and Hoseok hyung were talking awhile playing games on their phones, Taehyung was peacefully asleep, Yoongi went to get a doctor, and here he was, holding a precious human being.

"Hey? T-Taehyung? Can you wake up?" Jungkook breathed, gently trying to shake the older awake. He rubbed his hip, debating if that would make him want to sleep more or wake up. "Why does this feel so wrong? I swear I'm not a pervert." He commented, deciding if he really wanted to wake this sleeping beauty.

     Before he took full notice of everything, the doctor was brought in front of him, he knelt down to meet Jungkook's gaze.

"Hello, Mr. Jeon, I'm Dr. Lee. I'm here to inform you of your brother, Jeongguk. Fortunately, the surgery was a success and he should recover in about six to eight weeks. His neck shall be in a cast and he will have supports for his upper spine. He shall have a four night stay in the hospital and I recommend about a week or two off from school. For now, he may have hard problems with hard foods. Serve him some soft food and all should be decently well. As for now, Jeongguk is sleeping in his room. You all can go visit him but he won't be awake for another hour or so." Informed the doctor.

"We ask you be gentle and try to keep Jeongguk for any stress. The past day or two may be a blur but he should remember it within some time." Dr. Lee stood up straight, looking over his clipboard. "He received a broken neck and will have temporarily paralysis from the neck down."

Jungkook sighed softly, hearing all of of this. He could only imagine the pain and suffering Jeongguk would be in. How would he react to not being able to play football again for awhile? How would he feel after being told he broke his neck? Jungkook slowly nodded.

The young teen shook the slightly older teen in his arms, watching as Taehyung slowly began to awake. "We can see Jeongguk now." Informed the younger of the two.

The aforementioned nodded, letting out a yawn before he sat up, rubbing his eyes. He got off of Jungkook's lap, putting his hand out able to help the brunet to his feet.

Accompanied by Hoseok, Yoongi, and Jimin, the group followed the doctor to the room which held the injured Jeon Twin. Jungkook couldn't express the great deal of anxiety he felt. All he knew was he would be devastated.

Everything went into a moment of slow motion. The doctor's hand reached out to the doorknob, turning it to the right before applying his body weight onto the door, the creaking sound very noticeable but maybe that was due to how focused Jungkook was.
