Mel's Pov

"Girl where have you been?" Asks Lena

We were eating lunch at a Panera Shop near my hotel.

"I've been staying at a hotel."

"Why didn't you tell me. I was going crazy thinking something happen to you. You got Marques running around like he lost his damn mind . I don't even like the kid and I kind of feel bad. Maybe you should talk with him." Suggests Lena

She shocked me with that one.

"Wait why are you trying to help him?"

"Drake begged me to see if you would talk to him." Says Lena

"I don't know."

"It's been long enough don't you think. Explain to him why you got up and left like that. Then he'll at least have some closure." Says Lena

"I'm in such a good place. I don't want him to ruin it."

"Please if not for him for me. I'm tired of Drake pestering me about the issue." Whines Lena

"Alright fine. You owe me girl."

"How did I know you were gonna say that. Don't worry I gotchu." Says Lena

"Moving on how's things with you and Drake?"

"Good he asked me to move in." Says Lena

"Omg that's great. What did you say?"

"I said if we're going to might such a big step then I need you to let go of your hoes." Says Lena

"What did he do after that?"

"At first he was like you know you're the only girl I'm with. After awhile I finally give him. Girl you know I can't stay mad at him for long. Besides he knows better. If I found out he's been creeping I'm cutting off his dick." 😈 Says Lena

"You're so crazy."

"But you love this crazy chick." Says Lena

I can't believe I'm doing this. But here goes nothing.

I dialed Marques number. He answered on the 1st ring. I'm not surprised.

"I knew you would come around." Says Marques

"Don't flatter yourself. We need to talk. When are you free?"

"I'm not doing anything right now." Says Marques

"Okay can you meet me for dinner?"

"Yeah that's fine." Says M

"Alright meet me at our usual spot. I'll be here in like 15 minutes."

I hang up the phone and get dressed.

I throw on a red crop top. Some dark high waisted jeans. I put on my jean jacket and place my flats on.

My hair is curly. Lately I've been wearing my natural curls. I don't feel like straight ironing it anymore.

I grab my bag, keys, phone and head out.
