Chapter 21: A Baby?!

Mel's Pov

"Bae where you at?" Asks Moy

"In the bedroom."

I hear footsteps. Shortly after I see Moy coming up the steps with bags of food in his hand.

"I got your favorite. Chicken and waffles." Says Moy Walking over to me. He handed me the bag and I smelled the food.

"Thanks baby."

"Anything for my girl." Says Moy

For some reason the smell of this food was making me want to gag.

I ran into the bathroom. I made it just in time. I threw up all of my stomach contents. It was not a pretty sight what so ever. 😫

I feel my hair being lifted away from me.

I turn and see Moy holding my hair.

"Did you eat something that upset your stomach?"

"I'm not sure. This isn't the first time I've thrown up over food."

"Why didn't you tell me?" Asks Moy

"I didn't think it was a big deal."

"When's the last time you had your period?" Asks Moy

"I don't know."

"I'm setting up a doctors appointment. We're to figure this out." Says Moy starting to look stressed.

He lefts go of my hair and leaves.

I lay my head on my arm. Leaning on the toilet.

******* The Next Day******

Moy and I are at the doctors in the waiting room.

"Melanie Martinez." Says a nurse

"That's us." Says Moy

He helps me up and we walk over to the nurse.

"Follow me." Says Jill the nurse

She brings us to a room.

"A doctor will be with you shortly." Says Jill

"Thank you."

"No problem." Says Jill she walks out of the room.

I turn towards Moy he's been quiet since we've been here.

My doctor walks in. Closing the door behind her.

"Hello Melanie what brings you here today?" Asks Dr. Wilson she's been my doctors for as long as I can remember.

"Well my girl was throwing up yesterday. She can't recall the last time she had her period. We haven't used condoms in a while." Says Moy

"Ohh I see. Let's get you tested then to see if you're pregnant." Says Dr. Wilson

"Thanks."

She makes me pee in a cup.

We wait for what seems like forever.

******** 20 minutes later ******

Dr. Wilson walks back in.

"Congratulations Melanie according to our results your exactly 3 weeks pregnant." Says Dr. Wilson

I was at a lost for words. I can't believe I'm going to be a mother. I'm too young for this. What are my parents going to say.

"I'll leave you two alone. So you can talk. I'm going to go get your vitamins." Says Dr. Wilson

She walks out the door.
