Shamoy's Pov

Mel and I decided it's time to meet each others family. Today we're going to see her parents. I'm a little nervous. This is the first time I'm meeting them and Mel is already pregnant. 🙈

I hope this goes well.

"Moy Moy relax okay. I love you so therefore my parents will love you. We're having a baby together so they have no choice but to get used to it. The only person I'm worried about is my mom. She's all in love with M." Says Mel holding me from behind.

"I'm so tired of hearing about that nigga."

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to bring it up. In just letting you know." Says Mel

"Are you ready? I just want to get this over with."

"Yes let me just grab my purse." Says Mel

"I'll be in the car."

I walk downstairs and head towards the door.

I get outside and climb into my car.

The door opens and Mel walks out.

She opens the passenger door and gets in.

I turn on the car and back out of the driveway.

"Here goes nothing." Says Mel she's squeezing my hand. It's almost as if she's more nervous than me.

A man opens the door. I'm guess it's Mel's dad. They look just alike the only difference is that she's darker than him. He looks mad familiar I just can't place where I've seen him before.

"Hello you must be Shamoy. I'm Josiah nice to finally meet you." Says Josiah extending his hand to me.

I reach over and shake his hand.

"Same here. Thanks for having me."

"Come on in. We've been waiting for you guys." Says Josiah

We follow Mel's dad into the living room.

A lady walks over to us. She's brown skin just like Mel. She has long hair and is short ass hell. For a minute I thought she was Mel's sister.

"Hi young man I'm Tami Melanie's mother." Says Tami

She pulls me into a hug.

We all sit down on the couch.

"Mommy daddy me and Shamoy have something to tell you." Says Mel

"What is it sweetie?" Asks Tami

"Ummm..." Mel trials off.

"It's okay you can tell us. What is it?" Asks Josiah

"Please don't get mad. I'm pregnant and Shamoy is the father." Says Mel she puts her head down.

They don't say anything for a minute.

Her dad starts to speak up. "Melanie is this true?" Asks her dad

"Yes we went to the doctors. I'm 3 weeks pregnant." Says Mel

"How did you let this happen?" Asks her mom

"We weren't careful okay. I know I messed up. That's why I'm here telling you now. So you don't find out from someone else. I'm giving you a grand baby isn't that what you've always wanted?" Asks Mel
