Bonding Time

I woke up to the sound of loud music and loud screaming, I'm guessing Ace is trying to sing again. I sighed and slid my body out of my bed, I walked over to my closet to get dressed in a beautiful baby blue dress and put on some of my favorite wedges and exiting my room. As i walked closer to the bathroom, I could clearly hear that the music that was playing was Coldplay's Viva la Vida, Ace's favorite song. I continued walking into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and hair and turn off the light and walk into the living room.

"ACE! ACE! ACE!" I tried calling out over the loud song playing on the speakers. He was in the kitchen making breakfast and head banging to the beat of the song. I walked into the kitchen and tapped his shoulder while he was head banging, he immediately turned around.

"Shit Simone! You scared me!" He put his hand on his heart and took a deep breath in.

"You would of heard me if you weren't playing your music so loud! it woke me up!"

"Oh I'm sorry Simon I didn't mean to. Hmm why so dressed up?" He mentioned while looking down at my outfit.

"No reason, I just felt like dressing up today. Any plans today?"

"Nope, not that I know of, I was kind of planning to go to the library and study." He took a spoonful of eggs from the pan he was using to cook.

I put my hands up in the form of an X, "Nope, today is day two of Learning how to get a girlfriend! You're going to spend the entire day with me today so that you can learn all the secret tips."

Ace just looked at me and shrugged, "Ok what if I said that we could go hang out in the Comic book store after we're done?" He immediately shook his head up and down. I laughed and went to the fridge to grab some green tea. I opened the bottle and took a sip and watched Ace finish up cooking. 

He turned around to look at me and handed me a plate filled with eggs, hasbrowns and pancakes and bacon. "Wow! This looks amazing thank you!" He nodded his head and turned back around to turn off the stove and grabbed his own plate. We walked to the coffee table and sat down to eat and talk. 

After finishing breakfast I got up and grabbed both of our plates and walked towards the kitchen. "Hey you should let me make breakfast at least once, you know I can cook!"

I heard him laughing from the kitchen, "Yeah Mone, I know you can cook I just like cooking, but if thats what you want then I'll let you do the cooking some times."

"Great, I'm excited!" I walked back into the kitchen and stared at him. "Ok go get dressed our first destination is to go to Starbucks and get some coffee!" 

He sighed and got up off the couch and walked to his room to get changed.

"Ace!! I'm gonna go wait in my car! Are you gonna take your car or do you want to ride with me?"

"I'll ride with you!!" He yelled back from his room. I grabbed my keys and my purse and walked out of the dorm and locked the door and got into the elevator.

On my way to my car I noticed what a truly beautiful day it was and it made me smile, I got into my car and sat down, plugging my phone to the aux cord and playing my Get Hype playlist. I was jamming along to some Paramore when Ace knocked on the car window. I unlocked the door and continued to jam to the music before turning down the music a bit.

"Hey are you ready to go?" I turned to look at him in the passenger seat.

"Yup lets go, and remember you promised that we would go to the comic book store after we're done!" I nodded my head and smiled before putting the car in reverse and backing up from my parking spot.
