Family Bonding

Over the next few days the cramping and bleeding had stopped and I finally felt better. I took a few days off of work but today I felt better and went in to work. My relationship with Jacob had become even stronger and I was glad, he really is a good guy and I'm glad I'm with him.

I had kept in touch with Ace a lot and he said he felt better and was more concerned with me. Ace and I had been having dinners and lunchs for a while just to make sure the other was great.

Ben has been great, He's glad that both Ace and I had decided on what to do and that we took action. He was currently out of the country traveling for work.

I, on the other hand had called up both my sisters to get them to hang out with me. Both Vanessa and Nicole came over to hang out, we talked about what had been up with us and what's going to be happening when Nicole had mentioned...

"So what have you decided to do about the pregnancy?"

Vanessa spit out her drink. "WHAT? PREGNANCY?"

I glared at Nicole, who smiled back at me before I cleared my throat.

"I was pregnant, I'm not anymore, I think you know what my decision was." I took a sip of my drink.

"WHAT?!" They both screamed out at the same time.

"OK, Well how is Jacob feeling about that?!" Nicole looked at me.

"Um, he's not feeling anything."

"Why not? He's not emotional?"

"Nope, why would he?"

"Because he's dealing with this too?"

"No he's not."

They both looked at me confused.

"I don't get it?" Vanessa looked at me confused.

"He's not feeling anything because he doesn't know."

"You had an abortion without telling him?" Nicole screamed.

"He doesn't need to know it wasn't his mistake."

"Ok, hold on you're sounding like he's not the one who got you pregnant." Vanessa nervously laughed.

I shifted my eyes away from my sisters.

"Hold on...Does this have anything to do with what you didn't want to tell me?" Nicole slowly questioned me.

I didn't look at her.

"OMG, this must mean it does...but what wouldn't you want to tell me?...And you're saying it's not Jacob's problem?..." She kept going on.

"Wait...Simone...Did you get pregnant by someone else?..." Vanessa looked at me.

"Not just anyone...Ace."

They both looked at me shocked.

"It was about four months ago, he was upset about breaking up with his girlfriend and we ended up sleeping together. It was a one time thing. Then I met Jacob and I slept with him, then we started to date and a few weeks later I started to throw up and Ben told me to take a pregnancy test, which I did and it came out positive. That's when Nicole found the pregnancy test in the trash can, though she didn't know yet that I had no idea who was the father."

"Wow." Vanessa was agast.

"Yeah, and so I had to go to the doctors to find out how far along I was and that still didn't help me find out who was the father, so I had to get a DNA test but you need saliva for that so I had to get saliva samples from both of them without them knowing and then a week later I got the results and Ace was the father."

"So then what happened next?" Nicole sat closer, trying to soak up every detail.

"So I went over to Ace's place and told him and he didn't know what he wanted us to do so then I gave him a week and I told him that I wouldn't tell Jacob until we came up with a decision. And then a week later he had decided on a choice that was similar to mine and we decided to terminate the pregnancy. And I decided that I didn't need to tell Jacob since nothing came of it."

"Is Ace alright? Hell, are YOU alright?" Vanessa stated while her and Nicole held my hands.

"Yeah, He's alright and I'm alright, after the procedure, he held me for a while and we just were there in each other's embrace. And I've been keeping in contact with him and so has he. This whole thing has kind of made us closer to each other."

"Well yeah this is something that can only really make two people closer in a way since they're the only two who understand what has happened to each other, you had an abortion, that's something that can be difficult for a bunch of people. So he went with you to the doctor's?" Vanessa looked at me.

"Yup, he was there holding my hand and everything. After the procedure he had tears in his eyes but he didn't cry. He was being my rock and I'm grateful that I went through this with him actually."

"Wow, I'm sorry that you guys went through this..." Nicole spoke.

"It's fine, we both agreed that we aren't ready to have a baby and I had told him that if I was going to have a baby it would be with Jacob, since I think I love him and he agreed saying that He would want to be in a relationship or a marriage before having a baby and we aren't like that with each other."

They both nodded their head. 

"So how have you managed after the abortion?" Nicole looked at me.

"I'm ok, I cried the first two nights but I'm good now. There was some cramping and bleeding but it stopped. Jacob has been super sweet just being here for me, he thinks that I'm stressed out from work and has been extra sweet to me."

"Wow, I'm glad you have someone as supportive as Jacob." Vanessa spoke and Nicole shook her head.

"Yeah, so am I." 

We spoke for a couple more hours before they had to go home. I sat down in my room and realized how crazy the few past months have been and I'm glad that I have such a great support system to keep me sane and be here for me. I couldn't have done the past few things in my life without them.

So I think I'm going to time skip or jump a year ahead so that we can get things rolling and moving along in this story. Hope you enjoyed this chapter!!
