Future Plans

Time jump: One Year Later...

Its been a year since everything happened and It's been a pretty busy year, I have a new nephew named Michael, my sister Vanessa and her husband are so excited to have a new baby in the house. Ellie and Michael get along well,so I'm so happy for their small family. 

Me and Jacob are still going strong we've been together for about a year and four months. Ben has gotten engaged to Tyler and they are planning their wedding soon, while Ace has been dating Alyssa for a couple of months himself. 

I've headed up in my company and have become a firm partner!! Yes it's very exciting, and I'm planning on moving into a house, it's not too big and it's not too small, it's just right. 

I was sitting on my couch, looking up this place I wanted to get when Jacob walked into the room, he's been staying with me a while partically living with me.

"Hey, sweet thang." He sat down on the couch.

"Hi babe." I turned my head and gave him a sweet kiss on the lips.

"What you up to?"

"Just looking for a new place, you know I was thinking of moving into a house."

"Yup, wait hold that thought."

He got up and ran to the bedroom and ran back. He had his hands behind his back.

"So...I may or may not have gotten you something..."

"What?"

"Yes this is for your birthday coming up."

"Babe, my birthday isn't even for another week."

"I know but it doesnt matter." He handed me the velvet box and stared at me smiling.

I smiled and opened the box, and inside was a beautiful necklace with my birthstone on it.

"Wow...babe...it's beautiful...thank you!" I got up and kissed him.

"Of course, anything for my girl." He kissed me back and hugged me on the cheek.

I gave him the necklace and turned around, holding my hair up waiting for him to put the necklace on me.

He clasped the necklace and I walked to my bathroom and looked at it in the mirror enjoying the beautiful emerald necklace.

"Do you like it?" He kissed my neck.

"I love it, thank you." I smiled at him in the mirror.

"That's great. I love you."

I turned around and hugged him, "I love you too."

I walked back into the living room and sat down on the couch picking up my laptop.

"So you know you talking about buying a house kind of brings up the future for me."

"Really? You don't say..." I giggled.

"Yes I do... but I was thinking about our future...what I want to happen and what you want to happen.."

I nodded my head, confused as to what was happening. 

"So you know... I was thinking that would you want to have kids in the near future?"

I looked at him before laughing. "Honey...that was all you were trying to ask me? HAHA, well of course I want kids in the future, just not right now." Especially with the pregnancy stunt I just had with Ace, I made sure that I stayed careful and not pregnant, I don't think I could handle another pregnancy right now.
