Consequences Part 1

I woke up the next morning with a headache from staying up way too late. I felt a cold breeze under the cover and looked down and saw I was naked. I immediately turned my head to my right and saw Ace sleeping next to me. Everything came rushing back to me, we had sex. I slowly moved from the bed and put my clothes back on before picking up the condom to throw away.

I closed the door quietly behind me and walked into my bedroom, taking off my clothes and heading to my shower. After my nice warm shower I got changed and decided to go make some coffee.

An hour later Ace walked into my living and got himself some coffee. He came and sat down next to me on the couch.

"So...we had sex"

"Yeah...We did..."

"We should talk about it..."

"Yeah...We should..."

For the next 40 minutes we talked about it, and what it meant for us. We both decided that it would be a one time thing and that we were better off as friends. There would be no weirdness between us we're good.

Over the next two months we hung out as much as we could but we were both busy with work and life. I had started seeing someone, his name is Jacob and He's tall and has pitch black hair and dark brown eyes. He was born in South Korea but was raised here in America, he also has a beautiful smile with pearly white teeth. He's about three years older than me being 24 while I'm 21 years old.

Ace hasn't dated anyone yet and he's in no rush, he's been working on himself and trying to be the best person he can be. 

I was just chilling in my apartment when I heard knocking on my door. I opened the door and saw Ben.

"Ben!!" I hugged him tight.

"I've missed you!!" He walked into my apartment. 

"Do you want anything to eat? I'm fully stocked on all our faves!"

"Don't mind if I do!!" He went straight for the kitchen and grabbed chips and cupcakes and lemonades and candy and came back to the living and dumped them all on the table.

"So what's been up with you?"

"I've been good, been busy with work and family, lol my sister is pregnant again!"

"OMG YAY!!! I'm so excited, Ellie is going to have a younger brother or sister!"

"Yeah, she's really excited lol even though she doesn't understand what's going on quite yet."

"What's going on with you?"

"Work, moving to a new apartment and I guess dating lol."

"DATING?!?! YOU'RE DATING?! WHO? WHAT'S THEIR NAME?!" 

"Tyler, we've been seeing each other for about four months now, and its been really great." He blushed.

"AWW!!! I'm happy for you my friend." I reached out and grabbed his hand smiling.

"How are you and Jacob?"

"We're alright I guess I mean it's nothing too serious just dating and hanging out. I'm in no rush to you know push anything along or to rush him, I like the pace we're in."

"That's good! That's really good. Oh yeah How's Ace? I haven't talked to him in a while." 

I moved myself on the couch to get into a better sitting position.

"He's good, he's been working and busy with life you know the usual."

"That's good! How are things going with Jaime?"
