Chapter 10: Second dates and second thoughts

Luke POV

Today was mine and Ava's second date. I wish I could spend more time with her together , before we have to move on to the next tour stop. I want to be with her and only her for the rest of my life , I know it sounds crazy for someone my age to say it but it feels right me being with her. I want to have lunch and have a picnic in the park. I better text her and ask what she wants. "Hey , Ava how about we have a picnic in the park instead of going to a restarurant for our date ? " I texted her . " sure, that sounds great Luke we can stop to get our lunch or we can make something ?" Ava texted me back. " sure we can bring something to the park , what do you want to have for lunch ?"I texted her back. " How about we have sandwhiches , and and crisps and a drink?" Ava texted me back. " I can bring the sandwhiches , tell me what you want ?" I asled her wondering what her favourite sandwhich was . " I would like a german salami panini with pesto and mozzerella with an ice tea" Ava texted me back and then i texted back. " Ok so i will pick those up and we will meet up at 12:30 at high park. " " Sure , I will bring the blanket so we can sit on it and talk " Ava texted me back. " See you then " I texted her back.

Ava POV

Now that I know my lunch plans with luke I am able to pick out an appropriate outift. I decided on jean shorts , a shirt , a cardigan and some converse with a brown purse. It seemed like a good outifit for a picnic. But before I can have my lunch I have to have something to eat for breakfast . Since my lunch date with Luke was in about 2 hours I decided to something small for breakfast. I decided on cereal. It is a quick option for breakfast . Soon I finished my cereal and then waitied to get in the car to head to High park. I decided to go on social media and see what people were talking about and of course they all had by now caught wind of my date with luke and my past relationship with Ash. ' wonder if her next victim will be michael or calum , RT for mike or Fav for cal" . There were many of them . Some included 1D , stating that if Im in with 5sos I could be aftter Niall or Harry. Stupid accusations about me . My relationship with luke is not even defined between me and Luke so I cant really even define it in social media to stop all the rumours and put an end to the comments. My past with Ash was in the past , my future is with luke and only luke. I love that crazy blonde boy with all of my heart. I lovw him so much that once he leaves I will have to pile on the work while he is away. It will be hard while he is away , I wonder if we will wait to make it official since he will be gone for over 3 months. Soon enough time caught up with me and I had to leave for the park. I grabbed my bag and the blanket and headed to my car. I put my balnket and bag in the passenger seat and drove off. In the car , i listened to all of my favourite artists that Ash introduced me too, on my playlist on my phone. The list Included , Nirvana, ACDC, rolling stones , green day and blink 182. I listened to them mostly in the car since I could be in the car and no one would be able to hear me listening to them. Soon enough I arrived at the park and I was able to pull up next to luke in the parking lot of the park. Then I met him outside and gave him a hug. " Hey , thank you for lunch." I told him with my sunglasses on. " You are very welcome , now lets go eat im starving " He said to me with his arm aound me as we walked into the park to find the perfect picinic spot.

Ashton POV

We leave for Paris tomorrow and I couldnt be more excitted. The only bad part of going back on tour is that I will miss seeing A for a while. I wont get to talk to her for a while unless luke makes it offical with her on their date today. Even if he doesnt , it shouldnt be weird if i talk to her on the phone and stuff since we are still friends. I decided to do a keek since I hadnt done one in abit. " Hey keek , so we are next headed to paris with the 1d boys! it is going to be awesome , I want to thank the boys for letting us come on tour with them it , it has made our dreams come true being on this tour with them and we are forever grateful oh 2 seconds byee!!!!!!" . After I posted it I went on twitter and saw pictures of Ava and Luke on their date in the park , I only saw them because I was mentioned in the tweets . They two of them look happy and that is all I want for them. Ava was the first real relationship I ever had and Luke is my bandmate but more importantly he is like my litttle brother. Sorry harry about that comment. After I looked at a few pictures then I decided to get off because of a few rude comments. Saying that Ava was just looking for a way in to the famous life when I know she isn't . She is one of the most down to earth people I have ever met. Soon enough I wanted something to eat , so I walked into the kitchen and wondered what i was going to have for lunch. I would like Ava back if she let me or maybe we wont be together in the dating sense maybe in other ways. 

Luke POV 

We had decided on a spot to sit in the park which was under a tree and then sat down and started to eat our sandwhiches. " Thank you for the sandwhiches , it is so good" Ava had told me . " You are very welcome , I am so happy that we got to meet up before I left. Im sorry that I have to leave so soon , but I will be back before you know it and than we can spend some time together. " I told her . " Luke what am I going to say on social media when the fans ask about us and what our relationship is?"  Ava asked me. "What do you want to say to them , ?" I said to her looking at her. " I dont know , I dont want to hurt your feellings but we havent went on many dates so I can't techniquely call you the b word even though I want to " Ava told me . " How about we wait until I get back and then we can make it definitive , if that doesnt bother you " I told her not trying to hurt her feelings. " You are not hurting my feelings at all luke , I know we shouldnt jump into a relationship when we are on our second date. " Ava told me but I knew that she was abit hopefull. 

Ava POV 

I was hopefull that Luke would ask me today , but I knew that the relationship was still too fresh to be determined tonight. After about 2 hours of sitting and talking about tour and more getting to know eachother , it was time to go home but first we had to stop for some icecream on the way out of the park. " What flavour do you want ?" Luke asked me . " How about chocolate , simple but very good. " I told him back . " two chocolate ice cream cones please" Luke asked the ice cream man nicely. Soon enough we recieved our ice cream and off we went  and we made it to our cars." I had a great time today , I will see you soon , and soon enough we will see eachother again. " I said while holding his hand. " Of course , these 3 months will go very fast , and you know that we can stay in touch  with social media and stuff , it is not goodbye it is more of a see you soon " as he said that he hugged be and then i said back as i was getting in my car ." See you soon luke " I close the door and that was the last time I saw him for 3 months .
