Chapter 33: Wedding Planning?

Ashton POV

It was the next morning and there was many articles about me and Ava's engagement and how I proposed to her along with the videos that people made about it. The media attention around it is weird , if I was still a "normal" person and wasn't " famous" and we were in this situation it would be completely different. I love Ava and our baby who I can't wait to meet, now it is time to figure out if we wait until he is born to get married or if we get married in a few months. Personally , it is more Ava's day then mine, I would marry her today if I could but it is mire special with our parents there. " A I know we just got engaged yesterday but when do you want to get married , pre or post baby?" I asked her as she got ready for the day. " I wouldn't mind ether , why not before baby , I could wear just a loose white dress nothing too special, you know me, I never pictured how my wedding would look , but I knew that there was a possibility of who I was going to marry and I'm standing right in front of him " Ava said as she clipped back her long hair with a white lace bow. " why don't we plan it to be once we get to Australia , all we need is a marriage license everything else is just add ons. We should have an intimate setting and have only a few people there because we shouldn't be spending tins of money before he is born " Ava told me as she pointed to the bump. I want to give Ava the wedding of her dreams , she has been through so much and will be going through more . I want to make the day all about her. " how about , we get married in October , like the 21. So I am not huge when I have to walk down the aisle . " Ava said to me and and I knew that she needed to be happy on her wedding day. " Let's do it , I just want you to be happy. " I said as I got up and walked up behind her , wrapped my arms around her and kissed her on the cheek. I love her so much , I would do anything for her. "I guess once we figure out eveyrthing we have to call the parents and update them so they can help with everything. We need a marriage license and someone to marry us in a ceremony , everything else can be figured out later . Right now, you should get ready and I will start looking up who you can get a marriage license quick. " Ava told me . I smiled and got ready.

Ava POV

So we have set a date , October 21. I will be marrying the man I am meant to bewith on that day and my family will be complete. It also gives me enough time to prepare myself for having a baby a few months after the wedding . I think that the wedding should be small , because we have to save money for baby boy. I think that we can't really have the bouncer and the stuff like that yet because I will be with Ash on tour and so wil be baby boy. We will have to play it by ear. I look down at my belly and wonder how in such a short space of time my life has change . A few months ago I was single , living in London working a great job, then I met 5sos and Ashton again. I dated Luke , then got pregnant with Ashton's baby , and now am engaged and planning a wedding that will happen next month. Today while the boys are doing interviews I have to call and see if I can get a marriage license in less than 6 weeks. It will be crazy but I hope I can do it. I also have to pick a dress to wear as well as who the bridesmaids are and what the flowers will look like. I also have to think of the guest list and who us coming. I better get working. First I have to skypecall the moms and tell them so they can help me figure out who to invite. " mom , can you hear me ?" I asked her and she replied with a yes. " Ashton and I have picked a date for the wedding ! " I said , I was excited to tell her. " what day honey ? And don't worry we will help you with all of the stuff here while you are there " my mom told me . " Mom I'm not sure how you are going to feel about this day because it is soon but we decided on October 21 ." I said with a nervous expression on my face. " Ava , that is close , but it is do able . I will see if I can start the wedding process for you , me and Anne Marie will go to wedding locations and see them for you and we will skype you when we go so you can see them. I am not sure if I can start the process of the marriage license for you but we can do the location stuff. " my mom said and I was relieved but I was scared to tell her that we wanted to have a smallish wedding. " mom , we want to a smallish wedding ,and with a location it can make the budget go through the roof , we would have had this extravagant wedding if there was no baby on the way but since baby boy is going to be born in a few months. And if you are sneakily planing a baby shower for me because I can see baby stuff behind you , don't have people buy stuff that is so big . I would just like if a shower happens that the guests bring clothes and small things. " I told my mom , she didn't know that once I had the baby , we would be leaving for London in like 2 months . I was scared she would be upset I was taking her grandson away from her and he would never see him. I was going to tell her once we had landed in Australia. I talked to my mom for a bit about the pregnancy and what I wanted my dress to look like. I wished my mom would be near by me at this time in my life , but she can't leave her job and be with me , I am ok and so is baby boy irwin. I also have to pick my maid of honour and the bridesmaids. I have always been a guys girl I had more guy friends then girl friends . All of my friends that I have are guys , the only real girl friends I have our one directions girlfriends and fiancé . I think that my maid of honour will be Lauren ,Ashton's little sister who I have connected to and it would make her so happy . Lauren is like a little sister to me already, when Ash and I were dating before she told me that one day she would have me as her sister and that we would be getting married . She knew it was going to happen but wasn't going to tell me I was going to almost 21 weeks when it would happen. I continued on with the wedding planning , it was going to be a busy day.

Luke POV

Today is the day after Ashton's proposal and evey interview is asking him about it and at first it was cool , but now it is getting repetitive . The interviews have gone good so far, I get asked about Ava and how we ended things still sometimes. I tell them that I was the one and that Ava being pregnant had nothing to do with it , even through it was everything . I don't want the press to make her look bad , she is going to be a mom in a few months and she doesn't need the label of whore . I would rather take the label of being a jerk any day, we didn't have a today because we had a day off before we had to head to Vegas for a concert . I am thinking that we could do Ashton's bachelor party then ,even though we won't be able to do anything there . It could be fun , we could make it fun. I have to plan it with the boys , it will be our secret.

Ava POV

I have spend about an hour working out what I need and what Ashton's and my mom can help with as well as what baby stuff I am going to need for when we are on tour . It will be weird with a baby on tour I know , but it will work I have been pregnant so I can handle it. I think that we will need a back in play for him to sleep in and stuff like that . We just need a good car seat and stroller. I am kinda excited to roll into the shows with a stroller it will be fun . I think people may criticize me for taking my baby on tour but I want him to have as much bonding time with Ashton before I can't take him on tour and I sort of have to stay with him back home , unless he becomes homeschooled which we still have to decide on. For now , I decided to send my mom a list of things for the wedding as well as what I need for the baby . That has to be ordered, like the stroller , car seat , clothes and a pack and play. I then caught up with Ashton and the other boys for some lunch. Before we had to head on the plane later this afternoon. It is weird having my own security guard , Ashton got me one because of me and the baby . I knew for abit I would be ok but now , I'm not so sure I would be without him. There is only a few more shows and then I can head back to Australia and prepare for the wedding and the birth of my baby. I am actually abit nervous but also really excited to meet this little human inside me. It will be strange having to care for another life , because I had just started my own only a short time ago.
