Chapter 32: Ava will you ..?

Ava POV

We had made it to the show and I was hanging out backstage and all of the boys wanted to touch the bump because it was starting to grow outwards now. I then sat down and watched all of them goof off with each other , like Calum will lie down on the ground and they all will slowly pie on top of each other and it may be weird but it is also very funny. We all ate our meal backstage which consisted of pasta and salad which is very nice. Then it was time for them to hit the stage and rock out LA one last time before we move on to the next place. LA will always be a nice place to visit especially when we can take the baby with us. I then kissed Ashton and watched him walk up the ramp to his drums and watched him do what he always wanted.

Ashton POV

In the process of planing everything I had Lou Teasdale go out and buy Ava some flowers for me and I had asked Liam and Louis if I could steal Sophia and Eleanor away for a few minutes so that they could be there for Ava when she is called onstage and of course they said yes and that they and they rest of the boys were going to be there backstage as well. It made me a little nervous but I knew it was for a good reason. So now , I am on stage and once I leave thus stage I hopefully will have a fiancé. We started playing our songs and soon it was time for she looks so perfect , but Luke had a job to and that was to bring Ava on stage and that is what we did. " well , as you guys know Ashton is in a relationship with Ava and they are having a baby together . I want Ava to come out on stage because me , Calum , and Michael want to dedicate what I like about you to Ava . So Ava will you come out" Luke said into the mic . I looked behind me and I saw Ava with a shocked look in her face walking up the ramp to come up to the stage . She saw me and she ran up and I reached out my hand she grabbed it and we walked to centre stage together . I was able to have Josh Devine cover me in drums for this . " But before we sing , Ashton has a question to ask you Ava " Calum said into the mic . I saw the look on her face change from confusion to excited. Luke gave me his mic for this because mine was stuck in the drum kit. " Ava , we have known each other for most of our lives , we started dating when we were 15 , we then after two years broke up and it was the worst time in my life . I thought about you everyday , and I knew that there was going to be a time where I would meet up with you again. Little did I know it was going to be about 7 months after everything ended . I met you that one faithful day at the Wembley stadium , you were going to be interviewing us I didn't know it that in the morning but when I saw you when I walked in . Everything changed , I knew that I couldn't lose you again , I waited those few months and that one night in Toronto changed everything for me. Me and you created him ,( pointing at her stomach) and I knew that , that was it we were meant to be to be together forever. So there is one thing that I want to say to you with my grandmothers ring , will you marry me ?" I said into her looking into her eyes and on one knee. She nodded her head then said with tears in her eyes " yes Ashton , I will marry you !" She said and I picked her up and spun her around and kissed her. Then the crowd roared when Luke yelled into the mic " she said yes!" . Then out of no where the boys of One Direction , Eleanor and Sophia came running onstage . Harry brought the flowers because he wanted to be sweet.

Ava POV

I can't believe what just happened . I'm engaged ! To the man I love , the person I'm meant to be with. The moment couldn't have been anymore special I had two of my new best friends around me and the one d boys as well. I also have Ashton's grandmother's ring . This almost doesn't seem real. " Now , we have our last song and it is dedicated to Ava and Ashton , who are engaged now" Michael said into the camera. I was hugging Ashton and as they played What I like about you , we danced and Ashton spun me around a few times the night couldn't be anymore magical. Soon their set was over and we all walked off stage together , Ashton carrying me down the ramp bridal style to be greeted by people congratulating us on our now engagement . We now had to head back to the dressing room to Skype our parents to tell them the exciting news. As we walked into the dressing room , there waiting was sparkling cider since we are not legally allowed to drink in this country and plus I'm pregnant so champagne is not an option. We all celebrated backstage until the One Direction boys had to get ready and go onstage . After they left it was time to Skype the parents and I knew that they would be excited. Ashton called them on his laptop and we waited for a response. " Hi Ava Ash , how are you guys? " Ashton's mom said to us. " where is Denise we want to tell you both something ?" Ashton said to her . " Ava , your mom should be here in about 5 minutes , we are about to go shopping for our grandson " Anne Marie said to us . " that is exciting , I was able to do a tiny bit of shopping for him as well today with Sophia and Eleanor , that's Liam and Loius's girlfriends." I said to Anne Marie . " how is the baby , is he good how big is the bump now " Anne Marie said to me. I then got up and showed her trying not to show my hand with the ring on it . " wow , you are growing Ava, at least in know my grand baby is growing " Anne Marie said to us. After a few more minutes my mom showed up and it was time to tell them the big news. " are you two sitting for this ?" Ashton asked the two of them . " yes honey we are why ?" Anne Marie asked. " well , mom and Denise we wanted to tell you that we are ...." Ashton said looking at me. " no .. Your not ?" They both said with a look of surprise on their face. " we are ENGAGED" I said to them showing the ring. " I looked at Anne Marie's face and she had the face of oh my on her face because it was her mom's ring . " did grandma send that to you Ashton and she didn't even tell me ?" Anne Marie said. " yes, I told her not to tell anyone , grandma had always wanted Ava to have the ring and now she does " Ashton said to his mom. " congratulations you two , I'm so happy for you ! You guys are a real family now , you may have done things out of order but you are together for him . That is all that matters " my mom said and it made me happy. " there is probably a video already online of the proposal if you want to search it up it was so beautiful . I was completely shocked " I said to my mom and she was crying. I love my mom and Anne Marie I just wish they were here to experience it for themselves . After a few minutes of talking to them updating them and them updating us about their lives it was time to say goodbye. We had to head back to the hotel to watch all of the videos of proposal . As we walked to the car we heard , Harry say " Congratulations to Ashton and Ava on their engagement and also their baby boy that is going to be arriving in a few months " the crowd cheered and it made me laugh. I then checked my phone and all I saw was tweets and pictures of Ashton proposing as well as a few videos . We were going to watch those once we got back. I was sitting beside Ashton and I put my head on this shoulder and held his hand. It's not that we weren't a family before but we are now a family and we are going to get married . Now we have to figure out when, but that can be decided later , I just want to enjoy this time. We then made it to the hotel , got changed and then watched and looked at all of the tweets from the fans and the boys.
