Chapter 14: Back to reality sort of

Ava POV

I just woke up for the craziness which was yesterday , first going on a date with Luke , then hooking up with Ashton , and then being asked to be Luke's girlfriend. But enough about yesterday, this morning the boys left for the airport to fly to Paris . I am excited to see them interact with the fans and do what they have wanted to do all of their life. Of course I will miss him terribly but he needs to do his job and perform for the fans. But I have my own job to do , today is a day where I have to go into the office and write up articles for sugarscape, it is the least fun thing about this job. I like the interview portion of the job better but I know that I can't just interview people forever. So I got up and got ready for the day , today was a jeans and button down day withnnude shoes and a nude bag. I then got my breakfast which was the usual smoothie and granola . Then I deicded that today I was going to have a sandwhich for lunch that was a ham and cheese sandwhich with an apple and Ice tea. I know so adult right . Then I headed off to work , mhy drive to work is never very far , it takes about 15 minutes . I like to listen to the radio in the morning and the host was talking about the gossip over the past week and they started to talk about mine and Luke's date in the park the other day , how we looked like a couple and that we were seen by fans and they were trying to figure out how long we had been together and I know that when I get to work that there is going to be questions about the relationship that is brewing and evrything like that . I now wish that I worked in a different indusrty because my boss is going to ask me about it and I dont know if I can hide it .

Luke POV

We were headed to paris , the flight would not take to long since we were in london. There are now gossip magazines with mine and Ava's pictures on them and pictures of here and Ashton from when they were together with the tag line. " 5 seconds of summer share girls , Luke and Ashton sure do turn to page 20 to find out more. " . I had to point this out to Ash since it involved him as well as me. " Ash , look at this " I told him as we looked at the gossip magazine that someone was reading while we were waiting to board the plane. " Oh no , this is getting all too dramatic me and Ava are over and if you two want to be together , these pieces of trash shouldnt stop you two ." Ashton told me and I knew what he was saying had to be true but I had to ask. " You havent hooked up with Ava since that time right ?" I whispered to him.

Ashton POV

Well what do I say now , I guess I have to lie. " No we havent been together since I told you about it" I whispered back to him. " Ok because Ava was acting a little odd yesterday after our date , I dont know why ?" Luke asked me . " Maybe she was tired or something like that. " I said trying to make myself not look guilty.

Ava POV

As Im in the elevator going up to the floor where the office is all I can think of is my co wroker waiting at the elevator doors to ask me questions . But when I get to the floor no one is waiting maybe they are mature enough to respect my privacy at this time because , I dont go asking around who they have dated and who they are seeing. I reach my desk at start the lsit of posts Im suppose to make when I get called into my bosses office. I know that she is going to ask me about Luke and everything attached to us. I reached her office and opened the door. " Ava , please take a seat " My boss Sara told me " I know why im here it is to talk about my personal life isnt it " I said with dissapointment in my own voice. " No dear , that is not what I was planning on talking to you about , but now that you bring it up maybe we should talk about it alittle. " My boss told me. " What do you want to know ?" I asked her. " Before we get into your private life , I should tell you that your last 2 interviews have attracted alot of views and visits to the sites , your interview with Zoe Sugg was very good and many have watched and read it , but the one Im most impressed with is your view count and read count for your interview with 5 seconds of summer . That interview is our most viewed interview of the last few months. I am very proud of you and what you have accomplished these last 3 months working here , I think you are on your way to a promotion. But now , I have to ask the hard hitting questions about you. Dont worry nothing you say will leave my office. " My boss said to me and it made me happy she was proud of me but then i I had to answer her questions. " Well, I knew Ashton from 5 seconds of summer from back home , we were childhood friends and then we did date for about 1 year on and off before he left to really start his career , that was when we had to break it off , then we met again at the interivew and then I met them and well you can kinda figure out what has happened. " I told her.
