Chapter 31: baby shopping and planning for the future ?

Ava POV

It has been about a month and the tour has been amazing . The tour has been amaizng and the fans have been sort have come to realize that they will get really cute pictures of Ashton and a baby soon. The tour is coming to an end and we are back in LA for the last few shows and I also have another doctors appointment before we head to australia and then I will be having the baby there . I will have to have my stuff packed up in my london flat and send it back to Australia ut I can go back and pack or have someone else do it for me . I am now like 3 months along so flying is still ok and I also can go back and and I pick up some baby clothes over there it is going to be good. Today we are having a scan and we might be able to see what the baby is if we are lucky. Ash was able to come with me this time because they didn't have press until a bit later. We wanted to everyone besides our family once they knew what it was. It was about 2:00 so the next day in Australia . We made it to the doctors with no one around which is great. My bump was getting bigger , you could now really tell that a baby was in here as it was becoming more round. We both wanted our moms to experience it with us we knew they were getting together tonight so we Skype called Ashton's mom and waited for a response . As we knew , both of our moms were hanging out waiting for this call. " hi mom !" Ashton said into his phone. " hey baby how are you guys ?" Anne Marie asked us. " we are good , we are at the doctors and we are about to find out what the baby is and we wanted to call you " Ashton said back. " oh Ashton that is super sweet , " they both said at the same time. I was watching this because I was already on the chair and having the sonogram gel and Doppler on my and all I was waiting for was to see what my baby was. The doctor was asking us if we were ready and we were . The doctor looking and saw it. My face lite up and I was surprised . " well, it looks like the baby is a boy " the doctor said to us. I started to tear up . I can finally call the baby something other than baby , or it. I can call it a he which is so exciting . Ashton was speechless , our moms were speechless as well. It was settling in the this baby was going to be a boy and that I was going to have a son.

Ashton POV

I have a son . I am a father of a little boy . I can't believe that this is happening right now. Wow in about 4.5 months I'm going to meet my son and I couldn't be anymore ready . We now have to tell the boys and one direction was well. They were there for the baby announcement so we might as well tell them as well. Soon enough we left the doctors and met up with the boys at the stadium. We had the pictures and couldn't wait to tell everyone . We got to the dressing room and we were walking hand in hand and then stood in front of everyone and waited for them to listen. The one direction boys came in as well , we texted them when we were on the way. Now that everyone was here we were going to reveal it to everyone. " guys , we are here to tell you what the gender of the baby so. But before we all go on a tweeting spree , the fans don't know what it is yet so as soon as I tell you I'm going to tweet what it is ok ?" I am also going to take a picture of your reaction so Ava will reveal it. Ava will you do the honours?" I said and asked Ava . " yes , I would well , the baby is a ...... BOY!" Ava said to everyone and everyones reaction was the same . Complete and utter shock. " now I'm going to tweet out a screen shot from the keek. As well as post the keek" I said . I decided to caption the keek , can you guess why everyone is shocked and decided to caption the tweet / Instagram was everyone's reaction to baby Irwin's gender check out the keek ! " I tweeted out . After I tweeted the picture , thousands of people were tweeting us saying congratulating on us and the hashtag #babyirwin was trending along with #congratsavaandash . It was nice to see the fans tweet nice things this time around. It makes me feel good and makes Ava happy, now we have to start buying boy things which is exciting. We talked to everyone for a bit and then it was time to get ready for the show. Tonight was going to be the best show because we found out that we are having a boy and everything will be different. I also am going to have Ava's engagement ring delivered tomorrow , it was my grandmothers ring , it is going to be for my special girl. My grandma told me that Ava was the one she wanted her ring given to for when I proposed and I now have it. I know that she may not be able to wear it for too long but it will all work out in the end. I love Ava and she is giving me something that can never have a price on, she is giving me a son, a precious little life. I will never be able to give her something as special as she is giving me . Ava deserves the best and I hope I can give it to her. I now have to figure out how I want to ask the question. I think I have an idea that just might work. But for now I have to go on stage and rock out.
