Ch 21 - No One

Going back to home life for the time being after you and Rias get home.

You two were on a massive losing streak. Girls just not knowing what they want which was expected being around the ages of eighteen to twenty-one or so. Then with an unhealthy mix of homewrecker, pompous, demanding, and selfish types seems like after Slyph you might as well went home. Looking outside the door it was empty. Shutting the door you take a seat on the couch using your wife's lap as a pillow. She stroked your hair as you gathered thoughts out loud.

"Sheesh. Yup. What do you call this?"

"Millennials? I don't know Hubby. Just glad it's over. Seems like we keep narrowing it down. I thought bachelor then seven sins and I honestly don't want to keep going. He can have a harem if he wants. On him. Maybe be like Uncle Issei."

"If one of those girls has has a similar weapon as a familiar then pick her. How's that?"

She shook her head with a small giggle. "You ready to take care of our little girl? It's her first cold Love."

"That it is. Seems like it will be a mellow office day tomorrow right?"

"Honestly Hubby I'll be here for a few minutes and get out of here. Just normal routine and go home. Especially with our baby under the weather."

You sit up and give her a kiss. "I believe you're right. Let's get her to bed and some juice."

"Yeah. Great idea. Though no cuddles in our bed for a while. We can't get sick but we can prevent it. She can't."

"Still. Let's see."

Xenovia had a black bandana tying up her hair. After her girl's were done eating she thought it was a good idea to clean and do some housework. Kitchen first as she was still able to keep an eye on her husband's son Rinji or as many feared, Issei Jr. Then eventually change the bedding since he since Issei was going to be around in a day or two.

Let's see here. My girls are going in the bath after everyone gets back, Raven is going in an hour or two, and then I'll check on Blondie soon. "Hey Rinji you done counting cow over there?"

"I guess." He yawned.

"Trouble resting?" She called over.

"I guess. Can I have some water?" The boy asked.

"Can you catch?"

"I'm not dumb. I can catch." Huffed Rinji.

"Okay. Here." She underhanded a water bottle from the kitchen. As expected even though it wasn't a hard throw by any means it bounced off his forehead. "Boy..."

"Ouch. Balls that hurt." The boy complained.

"Rinji I don't even let your father talk like that. You are no different. Watch your mouth or I'll wash it."

"Gah! No soap." He flinched. "Pops said something about soap on the floor. Is this what he meant?"

"No dropping thaaaaa; don't pay no mind to that. But don't be inappropriate in front of your sisters and Raven. No good." A knock came at the door which was surprising to Xenovia thinking she had much time. "Coming." Who could that be.

Opening the door it was you and Rias. "Hello. Afternoon." You smiled.

"Thought you were going to be late. That bad today?"

Rias shook her head. "Thought we would maybe get ten. We got I think five. I'm exhausted. How's Raven?"

"It's really funny you say so because your daughter is sleeping like a baby. No other way to say it. Hasn't even woken up. Rinji I've entertained on and off as my girls have played board games. Go ahead and wake her. She's in the girls room." She opened the door to let both of you in as she attended back to her work. She only had to worry about one now.

You go in and the glow from a nightlight shined to see that little dollface fast asleep. "Aww. Rias I almost feel bad. Who should do it?"

"Allow me if you can carry her." Gently shaking Raven. "Rave?" She stretched her little arms as you grab a hold of her and cuddle her to your shoulder. You turn so your girl can face her. "Mommy and Daddy are done with work. How you feeling?"

"Less stuffy. Tired." She yawned.

"Awww. You're too cute for your own good missy. Let's get you to bed. I got some juice at home too. Help you get rid of those sniffles." Rias saw those dazed blue eyes and she felt stress evaporate away. Truly adorable.

"Thanks Mommy. But nighty night." She yawned again and wrapped around your neck to only fall back asleep.

"Wow Rias our baby girl is sleeping like an actual baby. Heck she was right." You slowly exit the room and see Xenovia cleaning her countertop. "Thanks Xenovia."

"Anytime you two. Hope she's well." Nodding and getting back to what she was doing as the three of you walk out.

"Why do you think she'll love Slyphy?" You ask.

"Fun and fun sized? Maybe a babysitter if she doesn't make it. You know. Oh well. Let's get her to bed and we will start thinking about dinner."

"Good call. I love you."

"You too Hubby. You two are my life."
