I Can Fight

~Mitch's POV~

My family had come to visit and told me about how I'd never have to see that awful man.
I was glad but I still wondered how they found him.

"So, I'm moving in with you?" I looked at my mom, who smiled and nodded.

"Will I get to see Jerome soon? He hasn't stopped by." I said, all of them froze and gave each other weird glances.

"Umm who is Jerome?" My mom asked with guilt in her voice and slight fiery.

"The one who brought me here?" I gave my mom a guest questioning look.

"He's dead!" My brother blurted out.
I looked him dead in the eye.

"Are you sure?" I said.

"Yes. He's dead." My feather cut in giving my mom a reassuring look.

"He-he d-dea-d?" I choked out.
I felt tears in eyes and started to twitch, I heard my heart monitor beeping faster.

"Mitch? Are you okay dear?" My mom asked.
I became short winded, this always happened when I cried.

"Jer-Jerome-s d-dea-dead." I squeaked out.
After I said that I cried so hard I even started drooling.

"Get a doctor." My dad said to my mom the. Focused his attention on me. "Mitchell calm down. Breathe, it's okay."
The doctors came running into the room to check to see if I was okay.
My family stood there in silence watching me attack the doctors who even tried to touch me.
I was so scared, I felt so helpless.

"Jerome, save me." I begged to no one in particular.
'No. I don't need saving.' I reminded myself.
I pushed away the doctors and ripped the cords out of wrist.
I whimpered at the pain, but slot got up and limped out of the room where I was met with more doctors running at me.
'I may not have special powers like Jerome. But that doesn't mean I'm helpless.'

"Don't touch me!" I screamed as the doctors tried to holds down.

"Mitch stop it!" I heard my sister scream.

"You're going to hurt yourself!" My father scolded.
I felt an ejection needle go threw my skin.
My eye lids started to feel heavy and I couldn't move.
The last thing I saw was Jerome.
