~Mitch's POV~
Now I knew, now I understood what Jerome was trying to say.
We were living an impossible life, human and guardian and because of that everything reset.
I followed Jerome into his room, I watched him sleep for a little while then I cuddled up next to him.
"Hey." He said tiredly.
"Hi Jerome."
"So you do this every night?"
"Jerome?"
"What?"
"I'm not gonna make the same mistakes you and I did in the past." Jerome shook his head not understanding.
I leaned in and kissed him before he fell asleep. Once he was asleep I whispered in his ear.
"Don't worry Jerome. I'll make everything right, but you remember that kiss for it will be your last."
