Chapter 18

Ashtrid pov
     I wake up in a cold sweat. Nightmares plagued my sleep. I trudge to the shower and get ready for the day. I wear a tank top with high wasted jeans and nikes. I put a ballcap on my head backwards and leave my hair falling down my back. I put on eyeliner, mascara, lipstick and do a smoky eye. Then I walk downstairs to the kitchen were maids are bring out a plate of breakfast. Today is their last day since I don't like people just hanging around serving me... Its weird ok? I eat the French toast and drink my orange juice. Grabbing my backpack and head to school.
     Classes of course go by slowwwww the boys aren't in school but showed up with Michael for lunch. "Assholes." was said in almost every sentence. But apparently they have been moving in all day. Which is fine by me. But I wish they were in class cause it was sooooo boring. Right now I am in a bitchy mood and Im fixing to walk out my last class of the day. Ringggg there goes the bell. I grab my bag and walk out. The hall fills quickly,  and I grab my things from my locker. I walk out the school and see Axel by my car. And for a unknown reason I smile. My heart flutters and my stomach erupts in butterflies. He is wearing jeans and a tank with a ballcap back as well. Without thinking I run up to him and wrap my arms around his neck. Burying my head in his neck. I feel his arms around my waist and he smiles into my neck. Pulling back, I wonder. Why did I do that? I can't.. Like.. Like him? Right? I see his struggling to. "Um.. Ready to go home?" I ask shyly looking down at the ground. His index finger hooks under my chins and makes me look at him. "Don't hide from me. Please. Now lets get outta here." he says. My heart is doing flips. So... He did mean to kiss me the other night? We climb in. Him driving.
     Soon after singing my heart out to every song that came on, we arrive at the mansion. And two guards are outside with a huge package. "What's that?" I ask getting out. "Y-you let him drive?" they ignore my question. I roll my eyes, "the package?" "oh yeah! Its addressed to you." one says. I look at it and my eyes go wide. My nerfs guns... They came over night. Hehehe. A mischievous grin is slapped around my face. I throw my bag down in the front room and begin to push the box around the mansion.. Into the elevator I never use, through the hall, and to the locked door. "What's that?" Axel asks and I freeze. Keys in hand and almost in the lock. Slowly I turn my head and squint my eyes at him. His eyebrows furrow, "can I trust you?" I ask. "Um.. Yea?" he says more like a question. Mischievous thoughts fill my head. Slowly I insert the key and rush inside. Before he can look in, I close and lock the door. "Hey! Whats going on?" he calls from the otherside. "Until you are sure I can trust you. You are not allowed in." I tell him. And begin to open the package.
    When I was done with the package all of the walls were covered. Everything I ordered came in. And now I was set. Now what shall I do first. Shoot my uncles? The boys? Jared? ... "Jared." I smirk. "What about Jared?" Axel asks from the hall. "You didn't leave?" I ask out loud. "Nope can I come in now?" he asks. "Is anyone else in the hall?" I ask. After a minute and his footsteps going down the hall a bit and back. He says, "no." "good." Then I open the door. I grab his hand and pull him into the room. Closing and locking the door. "Wow." he says looking around. He turn to me and says "Jared? " I smirk. "The first target." "then the boys." he smirks back. We grab a few guns and leave the room.
      We find Jared in the kitchen at the island. Another guard beside him sees us. I quickly put my finger of my lips in a shhing motion. He smiles and turns back around. Together we raise our guns and shoot him in his back and the back of the head. He turns around and sees our laughing figures. He narrows his eyes at us and we stop laughing. "Uh oh." I say. And we take off running. Hand in hand. Soon we lose him and find the boys. Quietly we sneak up and unload fully on them. They all 3 chase us. Running through the house, guards laugh and do nothing. Then... We bump into Jared. Our eyes widen and we run again. Hand in hand. Laughing the whole way. Soon we reach the nerfs room and run inside sense I left it unlocked. We lean against the door and slide down sighing. It wasn't until he squeezed my hand that I realized we were still holding hands. My cheeks tinted red I let go and stand up. We put the nerfs back and slowly leave the room. We thought we had successfully gotten rid of them. That is until we were picked up and thrown in the pool. The boys had grabbed Axel and Jared had grabbed  me. We came up for breath and we were all laughing. After changing we hung out. Ate dinner. And went to bed. Axels bedroom across from mine.
