Chapter 2

Ring Ring Ring!!!

Fourth period just ended. Time for free period!

The sound of the bell was shortly followed by the sounds of stamping feet storming out of the classroom like a herd of antelope.

I am first out. I am not hesitating to see my baby on our anniversary.

I rush to my locker and put all my books into it. I check my makeup and hair in the mini magnetic mirror. Then shut the locker door and head to the one tree. Our tree. The tree we met at. The tree he asked me out at. The tree we kissed at. The tree.

Once I got there Tyler was already waiting for me. I ran into his arms and gave him the biggest hug I could, followed by a 5 second smooch.

I break the hug. Yet we are still holding hands.

"Hi there gorgeous." Tyler sweetly says.

"Hey there handsome!" I exclaimed. "Happy anniversary!"

He smiled, showing his dimples. "How was your morning babe?"

I left go of his hands. "Ugh terrible!" I pleaded. He gave me a questionable look. "Long story" I stated.

"I believe you." he smiled. "So, I can't wait for the party tonight!"

What? What party? "....party?"

"Yeah at Lillians house at 8?"

"Oh yeah!" I shouted. "I can't wait."

"Well, we better get to class.."

"Ughh, alright, well I'll see you tonight baby." I gave him one last kiss before I walked away. Oh I can't wait for tonight. Lil always has the best parties!

I got back to my locker and grabbed my things for math.

*Four hours later*

"Honey, I'm home!" my dad exclaims as he walked into my room making me jump.

"Dad!" I whined. "You made me mess up my makeup!"

"Sorry...geez what's up with you?"

I sighed. "I'm sorry, there's just a party tonight and I'm going with Tyler and it's our anniversary so I have to look good. He's picking me up in an hour."

"Alright, well I'm taking a nap. See you later." My dad walked off.

I finished my mascara then stood up and looked in my full body mirror.

I'm so ready for tonight.
