"Mommy! I'm ready!" Xavier yelled from his room.

I smiled and pinned my unruly hair into a high ponytail.
"I'm coming son." I straightened out my pantsuit. As I fixed my outfit, my phone blared the FaceTime ringtone. I saw the name 'Kyrie🥰' pop up. I smiled and accepted the call, seeing his face pop up.
"Hey babygirl!"

"Hello handsome." I said, walking out into the hallway.

"You heading to work?"

"It is Friday." I said, slightly smiling at his stupid question.

"Right. Sorry, I've been on the road so much I'm getting my days jumbled."

"It's okay. How's-"

Xavier walking out of his room stopped me as he raised an eyebrow.
"Is that Kyrie?" He asked.

I nodded.
"Want to say hi?"

He nodded and grabbed the phone.
"Hey Kyrie."

"Hey little X."

He smiled.
"When are you coming back? Olivia misses you."

"I know she does. I'll be back in a little while."

Xavier smiled.
"Great! I want to ask you about Curry beating you aga-"

"Alright, I'll take that." I sighed, grabbing my phone. "Go watch the movie."

He smirked and walked out as I turned my attention back to Kyrie.
"The little guy talks a lot of smack."

"I know he does." I chuckled. "I also know that if I hadn't taken the phone he would have continued."

He smiled.
"I miss you."

"I miss you too. How's the road trip?"

"Stressful." He chuckled. "Stressful is the only word."

"Aw my poor baby." I pouted. "I'm proud of you though. I saw you ballin on the west coast."

He chuckled.
"Thank you. Thank you."

I smiled as I told Xavier to grab his book bag.
"When do you land?"

"I land in about 10 minutes. So you know what that means." He smirked.

I chuckled.
"I don't know about what you have planned baby."

"Why are you second guessing me?" He laughed.

"I'm not, I'm just doubting you. There's a difference."

Kyrie wanted to plan a 'family dinner night' with us and the kids and he was supposed to be cooking everything. One thing I knew about Kyrie was that his cooking abilities weren't great, every time he tried to cook for me he almost burnt his house down. Literally.

He chuckled.
"Oh okay. Keep that same energy. I'm going to prove you wrong tonight. Just make sure you and Xavier are ready by 7."

"We will be daddy." I smirked.

I heard shouts in the background and cheers and that's when I realized that I was on speaker phone.

Kyrie chuckled and sighed, telling the rest of the crew to shut up.
"Um, baby. I just took my headphones out, your on speaker."

"That would've been great to know before hand Irving." I sighed as my cheeks flushed with red.

"Aw she's blushing!" Terry yelled, jumping in front of the camera. "Hi Cassie!"

I rolled my eyes and smiled.
"I'm hanging up."

"I'll see you at 7'!"

I hung up and groaned, falling back onto my bed.
