"Mommy mommy!"

I groaned and turned, finally opening my eyes to the bright sunlight that peered through the window. I sat up to see Xavier on my bed, hovering over me.
"Yes baby. What's wrong?"

"I'm hungry." He whined.

I nodded.
"Okay. Okay. Let mommy get ready then I'll go downstairs and find something for you Okay?"

He nodded, walking out. I looked down to see Kyrie sleeping peacefully. I smiled, and got out of bed, careful not to wake him. I showered, and got dressed, throwing on a tan sundress and tying my hair up in a messy bun. I finally walked out into the hallway to see that Xavier had left.
"X?" I asked, searching around for him.

I walked downstairs to hear laughter and a multitude of voices. When I stepped into the dining room, I saw Kyrie's immediate family all laughing and sharing a buffet of breakfast foods.

"Mommy!"

I looked to see Xavier sitting at the kids table with Olivia, stuffing his mouth full of pancakes. "Hey, you look like you've gotten your food."

He nodded.
"Auntie Asia made me a plate."

I looked over at Asia who walked up to me.
"He came downstairs and said he wanted breakfast."

"That's fine. Thanks by the way, I was just getting changed."

She nodded.
"Well, there's plenty of food to go around. Get yourself a plate."

I gave her a small smile and nodded, grabbing a plate.

"Is my brother up?"

"Nope he's still sleeping like a baby." I chuckled.

"Of course. He never wakes up early."

I made my plate and found myself in the kitchen, pouring some orange juice.

"Damn. Fresh face and still beautiful."

I turned to see CJ leaning against the kitchen pillar and sighed.
"Thank you? I guess."

"No problem. Where's Kyrie? Still sleep?"

I nodded.
"Yeah."

"Still sleep? I swear that boy would sleep a full 24 hours if you let him." Mr. Irving smiled, walking into the kitchen.

"Happy birthday unc!" CJ smiled, hugging him. "Your getting old."

"Not old enough to not kick your ass so watch it boy. That's my son's girl."

"Happy Birthday Mr. Irving." I smiled.

He hugged me and chuckled.
"Thank you Cassie. Do they know I'm up?" He asked, nodding to the family in the adjacent dining room.

"They can't see in here so I doubt it." I said, shrugging.

He nodded, walking in causing a loud cheer of 'Happy Birthdays' to rain out. I chuckled and took a sip of my juice as their aunt Jane walked in.
"They damn near blew my ear drum out."

Me and CJ chuckled.

"Is Kyrie still not up?" She asked.

"Nope. Want me to wake him?" He asked.

"Please."

He smirked.
"I know exactly how to get him up." He quickly ran upstairs while their aunt turned to me.

"Listen..Cassie..I'm sorry about yesterday. It wasn't my place to question your past. The past is the past." She sighed.

"It's okay." I said, giving her a small smile.
