Cassie

"Babes!" Sabrina yelled through the phone.

I chuckled and stood up from my position on the couch.
"Are you here?"

She nodded.
"Yeah buzz me in. I also have a surprise for you."

I smiled and furrowed my eyebrows.
"Surprise?"

She smirked.
"You'll see."

A minute later I heard a knock on my front door. I quickly walked over, eager to see my best friend who I hadn't talked to all break. As I opened she squealed and pulled me in for a tight hug. I chuckled and hugged back before pulling away.
"Hello to you too girl!"

She smiled.
"That's the longest we've gone without talking in years...that's weird."

I nodded and smiled.
"Yeah Yeah. Now that introductions are out of the way, where is my surprise?"

"Eager are we?"

"Shut up. What's the surprise?"

She walked back to the doorway.
"Michael!"

My eyes widened as I recognized the name she called. A couple seconds later, Michael appeared in the doorway with a wide smile, showing off his pearly whites.

"Michael?"

"Cassie!"

My eyes widened as I saw my college friend who I'd hadn't seen in years. He was my ride or die guy best friend who also happened to be Sabrina's twin brother. We moved away from each other when he moved to Atlanta and I stayed in Boston. I jumped into his arms and squealed as he smiled and spun me.
"I've missed you c-cups."

I moved away and playfully punched his chest.
"Don't call me that." I said, letting him into my home, closing the door behind him. "What are you doing in Boston?"

"My little sisters birthday is coming up. I had to come up here and harass her." He chuckled, ruffling Sabrina's hair as he sat next to her.

My eyes slightly widened. Sabrina's birthday was in the next couple of months, and I had completely forgotten about it. Fuck.
"Yep!" I said, forcing a smile on my face. "The big 28!"

She rolled her eyes and slumped in her chair dramatically.
"I'm getting so old."

"It's okay sis." Michael smiled. "You don't look a day over 40."

Sabrina glared at him and threw her water bottle in his direction.
"Shut the fuck up."

He laughed causing me to laugh with him.

"My birthday isn't for a couple of months, that is not why you came down here."

I raised an eyebrow.
"Why did you come back?"

"My job relocated me here, so I'm moving."

"Congrats!"

"Yeah. I get to bug you and Sab 24/7."

Sabrina chuckled and rolled her eyes before her phone started ringing. She answered it as a sly smile came onto her face.
"Hey baby!"

Michael furrowed his eyebrows and I chuckled knowing she was talking to Terry.

"You guys just landed? Okay. Alright. See you then. Alright bye." She smiled and stood up.
"Well I've enjoyed this reunion but my mans is waiting for me."
