Kyrie

"Cassie!" I yelled from the bottom of my staircase. "We're going to be late."

"Mommy is always late." Xavier shrugged.

I chuckled, looking in the mirror and fixing my tie. I turned back to look at Xavier and Olivia who both looked nice and dressed up, thanks to me since Cassie spent an hour procrastinating and trying to convince me not to go. I looked at my watch and sighed, walking upstairs to go get her.
"Cass-"

She stood up and finished fixing her hair.
"I'm ready. I'm ready. Jesus, I just had to fix my hair."

My eyes widened and I smiled.
"You look beautiful."

"Thank you." She shrugged, walking over to me. "I still don't want to go."

"That's to bad. Now let's go, we're going to be late."

We pulled up to a mansion and even my eyes widened at the sight of it. A valet met us as we pulled in and smiled.
"Would you like your car parked?"

I gave him a smile.
"Nah were good, thanks."

He nodded, moving on to the next car.

"Damn Cass I didn't know you were rich."

"I'm not." She sighed nervously. "My family is."

"Why are you so nervous? Your more nervous than me and I'm the one meeting your family." I asked as her eyebrows furrowed.

The whole drive to her parents house, the nerves were eating her up and I kept my cool, actually excited to take the next step and meet her family.

She took a deep breath and forced a smile onto her face.
"Nothing. I'm ready. Let's go."

I nodded, turning off the engine. We got the kids out and walked up to the front door. Cassie knocked and we waisted for an answer as she turned to me with a questioning look.

"Cassie your one of the sweetest girls I know, what are the chances of your family being the opposite?"

"A big chance!" She sighed. "Promise you won't love me any less after you find out that I'm the only decent person in that house."

I smiled and kissed her lips, calming her down.
"I promise."

A middle aged woman opened the door and smiled widely. She looked like she was in her late 40's.
"My little girl!" She yelled, pulling Cassie in for a hug.

"Hi mom." She smiled, hugging back.

Her mom looked just like her, a petite white lady with sparkling brown eyes and dark brown hair. Her face matched Cassie's perfectly.

Her mom pulled away and smiled at me.
"You must be the infamous Kyrie."

I smiled and hugged her.
"Hi Mrs. Robinson."

"Hey son!" She smiled, hugging back. "Oh you guys look amazing. Oh! The kids."

"Hi grandma!" Xavier smiled as she picked him up.
