Deku's Point of View
I was walking out of the classroom when someone pulled me back inside. I'm guessing it was Uraraka because I could see her hair on my face. I didn't know what was happening; although it was Friday, I hoped to sleep in. She sat me down, and everyone was looking at me excitedly when I looked up. I had a concerned face on, which made them chuckle.
"It's nothing bad, Izuku; we wanted to know if you wanted to come to the Carnival today. With all of us, Including Bakugo!" Uraraka said, jumping up and down as usual. I smiled and nodded yes. Shoto, Tokoyami, Uraraka, Bakugo, Iida, and Kirishima were coming. I'm surprised Kachaan will be coming. It's not like him to attend something like this. He usually stays home and rests. Mmm...
I got up from the desk I was sitting on and waved at them. "At what time should we see each other?" I asked before leaving the classroom.
"Let's meet at six o'clock!" Kirishima said before smiling once more. I left the class and headed to my house.
As I walked down the sidewalk, I could feel my stomach kind of ache and rumble at the same time. I stopped for a moment to let it pass. I was getting dizzy while walking up to my house. Maybe I feel this way because I'm going to see Kachaan. I have never felt like this towards him. I'm usually sweating and always getting red.
I unlocked my house to be greeted by my mother; she made something that smelled so good. I drop my backpack on the floor close to the door before allowing myself to hold her in a tight embrace. She smiles at me when I tighten the hug. After the hug and walking to the kitchen, we discuss my day and her day.
"Mom, I was wondering if I could go to the Carnival at six o'clock? My friends are inviting me, and I want to go," I say with an eye-to-eye smile. She smiles as she hands me a plate to set on the table, including silverware. She placed the food on the table and sat down; I did.
"Sure, sweetie! Just be here no later than ten o'clock, understood?" She said with a severe face. I nodded in response as I reached for the food on the table. She sighed and went for the mashed potatoes. I smile as well and eat peacefully.
Time-Lapse
I run down the sidewalk and the street. It was around six fifteenth, and I couldn't be later than I was. I sprint till I make my way to the Carnival. When I approach the Carnival, I walk to catch my breath. I still have a lot of work to do.
"Deku, being late? Something must've happened," Uraraka says as she smacks me on the head. I pant for a moment, catching my breath, before I hold my index finger up to her, telling her to wait. I used my hands to hold me by the knees as I panted. I slowly got up and looked around; everyone except me, even Kachaan, arrived on time.
"Sorry to keep you waiting! I-I had something to do before coming here..." I breathed slowly with a smile and squinting eyes. They sighed with relief to see me here while Kachaan glared at me. Did I do something wrong?
"Shall we?" I asked them, making them all nodded. We then make our way up to the stand to get the tickets to enter the park. The entrance was flicking with bright colors and loud music in the background, exciting me. Once standing there in line, I felt ever so often Kachaan's hand brush up against mine, causing me to look down at my feet with a crimson-red face.
As we all passed through the gates of the Carnival, everyone had a partner. I was standing next to Todoroki while everyone else had other partners. I wanted to be close to Kachaan for once, to see if I could talk to him, but I've given up. Todoroki seems nice, so that I will stay with him for a while. Todoroki and I started to wake up a new conversation when Kirishima and Kachaan came near us to ask us where we wanted to go. Then, I had a panic attack. Kachaan is staring at me?! I suddenly feel my legs move without my permission to sprint across the Carnival.
